They met monthly to discuss problems facing their parish and come up with solutions. Their goal was not only to improve life for their constituents but also to reflect upon how Christianity should be practiced in America. Eventually, changes began happening within St. John's Parish that made it more effective as a community entity. First, leaders emerged who were willing and able to work together instead of compete against each other or dictate their own opinions onto others. Second, residents became more comfortable with speaking out about what they wanted from their church community - this showed through initiatives like electing officials and holding elections for office holders specifically within the parish boundaries rather than just across town or nationally . Finally, members began waking up inside themselves and realising that they needed to take care of each other FIRST before looking outward - this type of mentality would result in better communication between different parts of the congregation without any competition or egoism becoming an issue again

The Saint John community was founded by the Sisters of Charity in 1802. The sisters first arrived in what is now St. Joseph County, Indiana, and built a small convent on the banks of the White River. In 1805, they moved their convent to what is now Indianapolis. The sisters erected a larger building on the present site of Lucas Oil Park in 1907 and named it after their founder, Saint John of Nepomuktucket.
