The post-war era saw several changes at Optical Supplies including the addition of computer equipment which helped drive sales even higher; however by 1971 all operations had been shuttered due to changing timescape regulations affecting small businesses like OpticalSupplies It wasn’t until 1995 when local resident Rick Hickey resurrected OpticalSupplies through his own business venture Rick originally inherited the store from his father who had opened it back in 1940 DuringRick’s tenure many changes occurred including adding online ordering capabilities which allowed customers to place orders anywhere within America without having to visit one of those pesky brick-and-mortar stores As success grew Rick decided it was time for him & his team to move out West where they currently operate out of Scotts Valley CA However despite being up & running for over 10 years now not one but TWO brand new branches were ever built inside our old building – one on Wilson Avenue (the original location) and another on State Street near US 41 between I-465 & I-765
