Seymour, Indiana is a small town located in southern Noble County, Indiana. It was founded in 1814 by General James Seymour and his men during the American Civil War. The community became a post office in 1824. As of the 2010 census, the population was 2,898. The town has one school, Seymour High School, which serves students from grades 9-12. The name of Seymour comes from General James Seymour's home in nearby LaPorte County where he had been stationed during the war. The general's family moved to Seymour after the war when their farm fell into disrepair. They donated land for a courthouse and cemetery there. In 1814, General James Seymour and his men were on their way to battle at Fort Harrison when they came upon an Indian village near what is now LaPorte County. He decided then and there to christen his new town "Seymour" in honor of himself and his troops' victory over the Indians at that location two years earlier. The first church built in Seymour was dedicated on July 1, 1824 by Reverend John Kenedy with assistance from members of the local Baptist congregation led by Bishop Edward Smith Jr.. services were held every day except Sundays until 1830 when Sunday service was discontinued because of religious opposition to slavery within America at that time. A post office called Northfield opened on November 15, 1830; it remained open until it was replaced by Seymour Post Office on December 3, 1865 following the opening of that location's larger counterpart across the county line in Cartersville (also renamed Northfield). That outpost served residents of both towns until May 14th 1992 when its closing followed notification from Noble County about an increase in mail volume caused by increased visitation at both properties resulting from new businesses set up along US Route 19 South within minutes of each other just outside Northfield proper - giving rise to what is today known as "The Battle Of The Green." On January 5th 1915 – just days shy of 150 years since General James Seymour first erected a log cabin here – alterations were made to present day Old Time Hall (now part of Heritage Park) adjacent thereto for use as a Union Soldier Cemetery during World War I memorializing soldiers who lost life or limbs while serving our country overseas - including such luminaries as: First Lieutenant Harry Cushing ( conspicuous among many stars atop Monument Hill immediately southwest thereof ); Sergeant First Class Earl Scruggs ('Doc' Sweeney); Private First Class Cyrus Ewing ('Pete')... There have actually been more than 6500 burials here ever since however only around 350 are still currently being monitored daily due to limited resources & vandalism somarking all those graves does nothing but further perpetuate this tragic story! In 1938–39 additional structures were added to Old Time Hall - these included a Playground/Time Capsule which served as primary gymnasium for both schools operated jointly herein through State League #2; also housed therein: A library with special collection relating thereto including rare books/photographs/maps etc.; Also housed therein: A chapel inaugurated Christmas Eve 1938 designed by architect John Laughlin & contractor JW Henschelbach aka 'Jenny' Whitney... On October 25th 1951 ground was broken for future additionnal building(s)additional structure(s), later become known as 'The Great Homefront'. These additions included classrooms/recreational areas; office space; movie theater; music hall... Today's facility contains over 30 buildings totaling almost 4 acres! During World War II much activity took place here involving munitions production related work - most notably Arsenal Ammunition Plant No 1 right next door adjoining parkland adjoining original UAW plant used exclusively for munitions manufacturing purposes incidentally servicing same area now utilized mostly for agricultural purposes! This property changed hands multiple times between 1941-1945 ending up ultimately owned & managed by Marshall Co., Incorporated prior to its closure 1990’s…Today’s property includes over 30 buildings totaling almost 4 acres!
Seymour was founded in 1827 by Nicholas Seymour and his wife, Harriet. The town became a major center for the production of cloth and other goods during the 1830s and 1840s. In 1847, Seymour was appointed as the first mayor of Indianapolis. In 1861, Seymour served as treasurer of Indiana. From 1870 to 1875, he was governor of Indiana.

Here's how you can build your own shooting target holder: 4 easy steps: 1) Cut out a rectangle from an old sheet of cardboard. The size of your target will determine how wide it needs to be. 2) traced the outline of the rectangle onto one side of an empty magazine well or another surface large enough to hold two rounds(for adults). For small children, just trace one side on top of an available toy gun or play fortification). 3) cut out the shape of your target holder with scissors using excess cardboard around the edge. If you're using a toy gun, make sure there is no sharp edges on either end so that the child doesn't accidentally cuts themselves while trying to make their mark! 4) Glue both sides together using hot glue gun
