It also contains many businesses such as Wrigley Field which hosted both American Professional Football League (AFL) games between 1923 and 1927 as well as college baseball games between Purdue University and Ohio State university from 1951 to 1957; both teams are now located in Indianapolis Colts Stadium. The economy of Seymour relies heavily upon agriculture; among the most important crops are corn, soybeans, wheat, oats and potatoes although there are some small-scale manufacturing activities such as tire production or leather tanning operations
