In recent decades, Plymouth has become known for its arts scene with several performance venues located within walking distance of town center or downriver at Clinton Street Studios/Civic Light Opera House/Lighthouse Theater District; as well as smaller but successful galleries throughout town catering to a wide range of art enthusiasts from all walks of life.
