Noblesville, Indiana is a city in and the county seat of Noble County, Indiana, United States. The population was 24,811 at the 2010 census. It is the fourth-largest city in Noble County and the largest city on the western edge of the state. The area now comprising Noblesville was first settled by Germans in 1800. The town was established as a stop on stagecoach routes between Fort Wayne and Chicago. In 1827, John Cavanaugh founded what would become Indianapolis as a center for fashionable silk manufacturing. By 1881, Indianapolis had over 50 stores selling everything from groceries to toys to clothing. In 1929, Indianapolis became an all-black Americancity with African Americans making up almost 60% of its population

The company made holsters for the police, military, and other law enforcement agencies across the United States. In 1942, the company merged with Wernher Lohmann & Co., Inc., to form Lohmann-Noble Holster Company Incorporated. The company ceased production in 1984 and its products were merged into Smith & Wesson Corporation's holster line
Noblesville, Indiana is a small town located in the north-central region of the United States. The population was 3,564 at the 2010 census. It is included in the Indianapolis metropolitan area. The town was founded in 1836 by Simon Noble and his brother Elijah. The original name of Noblesville was "Erie." In 1847, Noble donated land to build a school and post office. The first school building was built on what is now First Street. By 1870, Noble had donated additional land for a village center and two churches. In 1901, a group of businessmen pooled their money to purchase 5 square miles (13 km2) of land east of Noblesville and develop it as an industrial park with breweries, lumberyards, tanneries and other businesses. The name change from "Erie" to "Nobleville". The city limits were extended to include part of nearby Carmel in 1911; this extension helped make Nobleville one of the largest cities within Indiana's then-larger borders. During World War II, Noblevale became home to many American prisoners of war who were held there until liberated by Allied troops in 1945. In 1959,Noblevale annexed adjoining townships: Goodyear Heights to the south and Northside to the north - these annexations help define present day Noblesville's border with its adjacent townships: Fairfield Township on the east side, Manning Township on the west side and New Hope Township on both sides of Interstate 65 (the six original townships that made up Indianapolis). Today,Noblevale continues to be dominated by its agricultural sector which employs over 60% of residents; howevermanufacturing has become more significant via organizations such as Fisher Body Co., PepsiCo., Lucas Oil Company & others located throughout downtown along I-65W between Georgetown Road/Ohio Street/Stadium Drive/North Main Street/West Harrison Boulevardand near US Route 617 (Northeast Expressway). Many high-tech companies have also been established here recently including Microsoft Corporation Headquarters Building #1C offices next doorto Cummins Engine Plant #1B . There are numerous restaurants scattered throughout downtown offeringgood food at good prices all year round too!
