Rifle stocks have a long and varied history in New Castle, Indiana. From the early 19th century to the present day, various rifle stocks have been used throughout the community. Some of the earliest rifle stocks in New Castle were built by Colonel John Suggs in 1802. Other Colleagues also built stock for their rifles in this period.During the American Civil War, many individuals from New Castle came to fight on behalf of the Confederacy. Many of these individuals purchased rifle stocks from local gunsmiths in order to keep their firearms functioning properly during wartime.Many of these same firearm owners continued to use their rifles after the war ended. After the Civil War, many new residents moved into the community and began purchasing new home mortgages. Many of these new homeowners brought their shotguns with them when they moved into their homes. As shotgun ownership increased within New Castle, some local gunsmiths started creating additional rifle stocks specifically for shotguns. By 1902, most local gunsmiths had created at least one Rifle Stock specifically for Shotguns!In recent years, there has been a resurgence of interest in using riflestocks as primary huntingweapons within New Castle County! Several members of our community have taken up this challenge and have successfully produced quality deer and bear hunts with their rifles using traditional methods such as trap shooting and cold blooded hunting techniques!

Forged aluminum alloystocks are another option that can be used with various rifles. These stocks are made from heavy-duty aluminum alloys that have been treated to improve durability and heat resistance. Composite stocks are similar to monolithics but include several layers of different materials including carbon fiber, plastic, or wood which gives them increased strength and flexibility while allowing for multiple shots at close range without affecting accuracy or range performance. composite rifles typically cost more than traditional aluminum alloys but may provide better results due to their greater stability at long ranges compared to metallic firearms
The New Castle rifle stocks company was founded in 1892 by O.P. McMillin, a gunsmith and rifle dealer in the city of Indianapolis. The company manufactured rifles, shotguns, pistols and revolvers under the name "New Castle Rifle & Pistol Works." In 1916, the company became part of American Arms Manufacturing Company. In 1948, American Arms Manufacturing Company merged with National Firearms Corporation to form National Firearms Industries (NFI). NFI produced handguns until 1984 when it merged with several other companies to form World GunCorp Incorporated.
New Castle is a city in the U.S. state of Indiana, located on the mouth of the White River. As of 2010, it had a population of 68,867 and is the largest city within the Indianapolis metropolitan area. New Castle was founded in 1824 as part of what was then called Corydon Township by James Witherspoon and others who left Fort Wayne to establish what became known as The Greenback City. The first white settlers arrived in 1825 when David Dixon and his party discovered land that would become New Castle County. They named their new village Corydon after General Andrew Cunninghams old home near Allegany Creek where he had been born in 1798. The town grew rapidly with new arrivals from Illinois, Kentucky, Canada and other parts of the United States until by 1830 it numbered over 100 people. On July 8, 1827, New Castle was incorporated as a city under an act of Congress which granted its charter to John Peckelsbeck. This event marked the beginning of an era during which Indianapolis gradually outgrew New Castle as its primary commercial center while also maintaining cultural ties to this small community. In 1830 Mayor Peckelsbeck erected a brick courthouse on Main Street at what is now Park Avenue NE (then Dearborn Street). This building served as courthouse for most of until 1966 when it was replaced by the current structure adjacent to Central Library on Delaware Avenue NE (formerly Washington Boulevard). In 1835-36 residents built or contributed to two large warehouses on State Street just north of present day Third Street NW – these warehouses are now occupied by Hennepin County government buildings including county executive offices and courtrooms; both stores were listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978. During this time period several significant events occurred that led to growth within Newcastle: 1) On November 4, 1840 James Witherspoon organized a group consisting principally men from Indiana rifle companies serving under General Scott during Mexican War at Fort Harrison; 2) On October 16, 1842 Isaac Brock purchased 5 acres (20,000 m²) along White River shoreline east sideof present day Second Street NW from Nicholas Deering for $5 per acre; 3) September 25 & 261846 saw huge public celebration marking successful completion Phase III construction project for US Military Railroad connecting Michigan City with Seville Mines Base Camp Indio California through newly acquired lands west sideof White River about one mile south off I-465 between Lebanon Road & Old Mission Road SW; 4) January 2nd 1850 Fenton Coleman donated lot bounded on South Side Streets West - North Side Streets East forming original town square fronting riverfront property now known as Courthouse Square - this donation marks initial development stage leading up to becoming full fledged municipally charteredCity following incorporation decree issued February 11th 1850

New Castle is a city in and the county seat of Delaware County, Indiana, United States. As of the 2010 census, the population was 14,191. New Castle has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1978. The city is also home to New Castle University. New Castle was founded by farmer John Denton in 1795 as a small trading post on the Paducah River. It grew rapidly from a scattering of log cabins to a bustling town by 1800. By 1820, New Castle had become an important transportation hub for settlers moving westward along the Ohio River. In 1821, Indian Chief Tecumseh visited New Castle and its neighbor Fort Wayne,Indiana and criticized Ulysses S. Grant's removal of Native Americans from their land in eastern Indiana. Tecumseh offered his support for General Harrison's re-election campaign against Andrew Johnson in 1824 but ultimately voted for Harrison because he felt that Grant had mishandled Indian Affairs. In 1827, Governor James Kapp moved the county seat from Vincennes to NewCastle so that it would be closer to state government and other businesses in State Street downtown. The move cost taxpayers $1 million but it helped spur economic development in what is now Delaware County while also providingnewcomers with an easy access to education and business opportunities outside of Vincennes
New Castle was founded in 1814 by Andrew Johnson and his wife, Lucy. The town rapidly grew, becoming a major center for trade and industry. It became the state capital in 1833 and its residents played an important role in the development of Indiana both politically and culturally. In 1907, New Castle became part of the new Indianapolis metropolitan area.
