WHC produced shotguns, rifles, handguns and ammunition until 1984 when it was sold to Browning Arms Company Incorporated (BAIC). At BAIC, the guns were again produced under several different names including Winchester Repeating Arms Company (WRAC), Browning Armory Company (BAL) and Colt Firearms Corporation (COLT).
