A flashlight has been a basic tool for all humans since ancient times, and was even used by some fighters in hand-to-hand combat. In 1853, John Brown pistol inventor Eli Whitney designed a revolver using an Improvement on the 10/22 Rifle Action which he christened the “Browning rifle action pistol” It differed from most other pistols in that it featured hammerless action (the hammer was located on an adjacent lever), which made it easier and faster to cock than other pistols with this type of action. The original model handgun was created as a self-defense weapon primarily for black men in inner cities where law enforcement was sparse or unavailable. In 1922, John Browning merged his company with Winchester Ammunition Company to form what would become Winchester Repeating Arms Company Winchester Repeating Arms Company produced their own line of assault rifles called the “ Carbine” series (1910 – 1912) and then chambered for .30 caliber ammunition (1914 – 1916). The first production model carbine featured 4 barrels with 30 round magazines housed inside each barrel. This firearm became known as the Model 1915 American Model Carbine

The La Porte, Indiana Rifle Association was founded in 1892. The rifle association was a local organization that focused on NRA education and public defense. In 1927, the NRA changed its name to the La Porte County Rifle Association and began operations within the county. In 1934, the NRA purchased a small fire station in LaPorte and moved it into their new building. In 1942, World War II started and gun control laws were tightened. The NRA became involved in politics and lobbied for restrictions on firearms ownership by civilians. After the war ended, gun control laws remained stricter than they had been before. TheLaPorte County Rifle Association operated until 1968 when they merged with the Indianapolis-based National Rifle Association
La Porte is a small town in Kosciusko County, Indiana, United States. The population was 1,857 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Crawfordsville–Portage City, IN-MI Metropolitan Statistical Area. La Porte was founded in 1841 by German immigrants. The first post office in La Porte was established on December 20, 1841. LaPorte's original railroad station opened on July 12, 1885. The current building was completed in 1912 and is used as the only bank and convenience store in the community. In 1954, La Porte incorporated as a village and adopted a republican form of government with a mayor-council model of governance. In 1961, La Porte became an unincorporated community when it merged with neighboring Crawfordsville to form Crawfordsville–LaPorte Township which still has its own municipality form of government today despite being made up of two separate townships within Kosciusko County. According to the 2010 census, there are 1,857 people living in LaPorte Township and 712 living in Crawfordsville-LaPorte Township collectively (the combined population of both townships is 1,934). The median household income for both communities is $52,083; however this figure may be higher or lower depending on how extensive the work week is for either community residents or businesses located within those two municipalities because it does not include citizens who work only part time outside their homes due to traditional week long protections for workers’ compensation benefits offered under state law which would count towards their monthly income if they worked more than 50% during that particular month (this includes full timers working less than 50% because they have special job protection granted by state law). In addition to wages earned from employment inside or outside of those two municipalities while residing within those municipalities they also receive Social Security Disability Income Tax Credit money paid into personal accounts allocated specifically for low income residents who reside within those municipalities along with various other benefits that come standard with municipals such as voter Registration drives conducted during election season as well public safety patrols conducted throughout most months directed by elected officials representing all residents regardless ofincome level currently residing within their city limits whether employed or not currently extant)

The first consumer-based weapon flashlight was created by George Edmunds in 1875. This device featured an adjustable headlight and ran on electricity instead of gas or oil. It was not until 1909 that the first practical laser weapon flashlight was designed and built. At this point,weapon flashlights had reached their current form and are still used today as key components in law enforcement and military vehicles worldwide.

La Porte is a town in La Porte County, Indiana, United States. The population was 1,711 at the 2010 census. La Porte was platted on September 12, 1871, by J. H. White and C. W. Henson.[1] It became an incorporated town on May 14, 1912.[2] The town is named after Augustus Lafayette LaPorte (1810-1880), a U.S. Representative from Indiana from 1861 to 1865 and then Secretary of War under Abraham Lincoln before being elected as a Democrat to the Thirty-second United States Congress in 1872; he served one term only due to his death soon after. La Porte had two businesses that operated continuously for over seventy years: the Post Office and the Store (now closed). The first post office opened in 1869 and continued operation until it was discontinued in 1984; it replaced an earlier small store which also operated intermittently for many years prior to its closure in 1903[3]. The store started out as a small blacksmith shop run by Abner Funkhouser who later married into the family of Ladd Richardson Sr., one of the founders of Richland Township (northwest of La Porte).[4] In 1907 Richardson moved his family to Richland Township where they founded Richardson's General Store which still stands today (2006) as one of La Porte's most prominent landmarks with more than $150,000 in sales each year[5]. When Richardson died suddenly in 1908 his widow donated all her assets including their store building and land to the community for use as a schoolhouse annexing what is now Administration Building #2 on Main Street[6]. The first high school student enrolling atRichardson's High School attended classes there between 1928-1969 when it was finally renamed "Indiana State University - Purdue University Indianapolis" following its move from Terre Haute,[7][8][9][10] becoming an affiliate institution with Ball State University beginning fall semester 1969 under then Superintendent Myron Hendricks.[11][12] A football stadium/park originally located east off northwest corner of Main Street adjoining Administration Building #2 eventually became home field for both IUPUI men’s soccer team and women’s soccer team[13]; this facility has since been demolished leaving just grassy Soccer Field adjacent to Administration Building #2 remaining today
