With the help of Bob Simonsen and other engineers from S&W’s firearms department, they developed a revolver that could be fired either by cocking the hammer or by pulling the trigger release button on top of the frame. This gave Colts their first serious competitive advantage over other manufacturers when it came to handgun printing during World War I (1914-18). With no major wars going on at that time, Colt began producing handguns again in 1919 under license from S&W Firearms Corporation. The company name changed several times during these years due to trademark issues with other companies, but finally Colt became known as Delaware Manufacturing Company in 1930 after merging with American Arms Company (AAC) subsidiary Colt–Browning Arms Corporation (CBA). In 1935, AAC merged into Remington Rand company and all guns produced by Remington Rand were now referred to as Remington Model 870 chambered for .45 ACP calibers only. However, some shotgun shells were still chambered for 7mm NATO caliber rounds even though these cartridges were not officially available in those sizes yet! Inspired by this example, many Indian leaders negotiated treaties providing land grants and immunity from attack if they abandoned their settlements within 3 years. On November 1 st , 1818,[1] these treaties were signed by Chief Black Hawk and other leading Indian negotiators located at Mount Vernon Barracks on Monument Circle today.[2] Indian Territory formed when Ohio ceded its western portion of Kentucky to Mexico following their War for Independence (1812-1815).
