In addition to housing developments such as Sears Tower which now occupies much of downtown area; commercial districts such as Midtown have arisen along I-465/I-475 corridors which provide easy access to local businesses throughout town while still preserving some vestige of rural character present in most aspects of Huntington. Although experiencing continuing growth today; there are also several efforts underway at dear old “Huntington”– notably through creation or renovation of several iconic buildings such as City Hall Annex – which appear likely to continue for many years yet to come!
