Greensburg, Indiana is a small town located in central Indiana. The population was 1,898 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Posey County. The name Greensburg derives from the German word "Grünstadt". The earliest reference to Greensburg is found in a deed dated April 2, 1692, which states that Daniel Bauer sold land to John Sturtevant. In 1785, James Green purchased of land from John Sturtevant for $1 and it became known as Green's Townsite. On July 3, 1800, Henry Dearborn and others bought of land from James Green for $4 and it became known as Dearborn'sTownsite. In 1801, George Stephenson donated of land to form the village of Greensburg. On February 13th of that year, then-Mayor David Humphreys dedicated the first sod on what would become home to Greensburg as he pronounced "grünztown." In 1815/1816 Michael Sprague opened a store in what would become home to Greensburg and continued business until his death in 1848. He had named his store after himself – Sprague’s Store (later renamed Greene’s). When Andrew Jourdan arrived in Greensburg in 1827 he began grocery shopping at Sprague’s Store before opening his own store two years later on Main Street near present day State Road 723A. John Hanks started farming with his father about 1840 and by 1850 he had acquired over . By 1860 he also owned four slaves who worked on his farmstead. One slave was killed during an insurrectionary uprising; another served out her full term without complaint before being freed in 1865 when her master died unmarried aged 80 years old (the last slave within reach expired prior to her release). A third slave was emancipated by order of Governor Morton following public pressure brought about by concern over increasing numbers of free black people living near white farmers without proper protection or consent from their owners subjecting them to racial abuse or theft.— Benjamine Carruth

Gun lights also became popular among civilian shooters who wanted an easy way to find targets in dark areas without having access to natural light source such as moonlight or stars. The popularity of gun lights has continued unabated over the years, with many different types and styles being developed specifically for law enforcement use including high-intensity LED versions that produce virtually no shadows or glare when shining onto objects at close range; these units are often designed as portableacons which can be carried with you wherever you go

Greensburg is a town in Paulding County, Indiana, United States. The population was 524 at the 2010 census. It was founded in 1827 and incorporated as a town in 1872. The name of the town comes from Greene Township, Pennsylvania. The first clear evidence of habitation within what would become Greensburg dates back to about 1800 when George Washington wrote an article for the "Pennsylvania Gazette" about his journey up the Ohio River. Travelers on their way to Baltimore noted an area near present-day Greensburg as being particularly fertile and could provide them with fresh vegetables for their tables while on their journeys. By 1827, Greene Township had been organized in that year by three men: James Doolittle, Solomon Miles and John Potter Jr.. The township was named for General Nathanael Greene who commanded American forces during the Revolutionary War. In 1830, James Doolittle donated land to form part of what is now known as Friendship Heights which included some of today's downtown Greensburg. In 1832, Greene Township also donated land to form part of what is now known as Arlington Heights which includes much of north side Greensburg today including parts of Five Points Shopping Center and Greene Avenue shopping mall Today's east side Greenwood Avenue begins just south of this intersection where land formerly belonging to Arlington Heights ends before continuing down into present day Five Points Shopping Center
