Over time, other models were released including an alloy model called the "Goshen Rifleman" as well as plastic models called the "Goshen Scout". Today, Scope Mounts continue to play a vital role in the culture and economy of Goshen - both commercially and aesthetically. Goshen, Indiana is a small town in northwest Indiana. The population was 7,812 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Kosciusko County. The first people to settle in Goshen were the Potawatomi Indians. They arrived there in 1814 and built their teepees on the banks of the Kankakee River. The Potawatomi Indian nation dissolved in 1847, but some of their descendants still live in Goshen today. The early settlers were farmers and loggers who came to Goshen from all over Northwest Indiana. In 1853, George Witherspoon opened a grocery store in Goshen and started selling groceries to local farmers. Over time, other businesses followed Witherspoon's lead: a bakery, photographer shop, dry goods store, lumberyard and post office. In 1906, the first school was built in Goshen: an elementary school that served Kindergarten through 8th grade until 1957 when it was replaced by a high school which now serves grades 9-12 (the current high school building was built in 1915). The elementary school has been replaced by two new schools which are currently under construction: one for students Pre-K through 2nd grade and another for 3rd through 5th grade which will be completed in 2020. 3 churches also operate within walking distance of each other - First Baptist Church (1925), Second Baptist Church (1927) and United Methodist Church (1969). There is also a playground/community center located just south of town off US-31E on Route 66 just east of milepost 248 on the east side of Kosciusko County; this facility includes a library with award winning computers as well as plenty of room for physical activity such as soccer, baseball and basketball games as well as club meetings/forums for parents & children alike! Additionally there is ample parking available should you need it! Today Goshen continues its strong ties to agriculture with many family farms providing produce both fresh & processed throughout year long production cycles

Goshen, Indiana is a small town in the state ofIndiana. The population was 1,827 at the 2010 census. Goshen was founded by General David Garrick in 1792 as a part of the Goshen Purchase. The town was first called Bloomington and then changed to Goshen due to its location on the Goshen River. In 1830, Goshen became one of four towns chartered by exclusive Act No. 9 of that year which created what is now Northwest Indiana University (NWIU). In 1836, Goshen became a county seat and remained so until consolidation with nearby Evansville in 1873. It has since reverted back to its original name of Goshen. The history of Goshen can be traced back to when it was established as a part of the Goshen Purchase from farmer John Wilkinson and landowner James Hogg. At that time, it lay along present-day Huntington Road on the banks of the Goshin River between Bloomington and Evansville. The majority of early settlers were Methodists who arrived during the Great Migration from England in search of agricultural opportunities in America. Interestingly, many early residents also came from Ireland which seems ironic given that Ireland had been partitioned into two countries less than two decades prior to their arrival hereabouts! In 1792, General David Garrick laid out a military post at what is now known as Barracks Square within what is today downtown GOSHEEN – home to both NWIU (then known as Northwest Indiana Normal School) and Washington County Courthouse – for his troops stationed at Fort Meade duringthe Revolutionary War period [1]. This area remains an important tourist spot today thanks largely to its excellent views overlooking downtown GOSHEN while also offering great shopping opportunities if you’re looking for period-inspired items or antiques! Additionally, Barracks Square served as headquarters for much later periods including World War II operations; during this time it housed Command Post #5 which coordinated all army activities throughout Northwestern Indiana[2].
