Scope mounts come in either fixed or adjustable design. Fixed scopes typically have a single screw that provides the necessary adjustments for height, aspect ratio, and magnification while adjustable scopes can be adjusted in many different ways including turrets, knobs, and levers. Scope mounts come in both standard Weaver-style crossfire sights (CS) and NATO-style Mil-STD-1913 Picatinny rails (PN). The purpose of a scope rail is to provide context for the aiming reticle on the rifle's optic by providing spacing between the optical fiber and the barrel. To use a military sniper rifle with an iron sights system such as an M4A1 carbine, there must be at least one scope rail on the gun so that it can be attached securely with four Allen screws. Evansville grew rapidly during the 1830s and 1840s, thanks to its location on the National Road and its access to resources such as timber and water. In 1846, Evansville became an official town, and in 1865 it became a city. Today, Evansville is one of the most active cities in Indiana, with a population of over 155,000 people.
Evansville is a city in Evans County, Indiana, United States. The population was 12,513 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Evans County and home to the Indiana State University. In 1814, General Anthony Wayne founded what would become Evansville on the Licking River and named it for General David Evans, who had fought in the American Revolution. The city was incorporated on December 15, 1839. The first post office in Evansville was established on January 2, 1840 by order of Governor Thomas Hudnut. The first store in town was operated by Fenton & Jones and opened on November 25 of that year. By 1845, there were nine stores operating in town with a total population of 604. A sawmill and grist mill were built about this time; these mills accounted for much of the early economic development of Evansville. In 1862, Edwin Forrest purchased 3 miles (4 km) east of town from James McNairy for $1 million dollars; Forrest renamed his new property "Forest Park". This land formed part of what is now known as Forrest Terrace and remains one of Evansville's most scenic areas today. On May 1st 1865, President Abraham Lincoln delivered a speech at Forest Park which also served as the official starting point for Lewis Street westward to downtown Indianapolis During World War II both our Navy Yard (now Naval Base Indianapolis)and our aircraft manufacturing plant (now Lucas Oil Company) located here produced munitions vital to Allied victory

In 2002, Nikon introduced their own version of the expansion mount, which became known as the "Nikon Scope Mount." This system expanded to accept up to 4 lenses or optics when used with a Nikon crosshair scope. In 2006, Leica introduced their own expansion mount called the LeicaScope. Evansville is a town in Putnam County, Indiana, United States. The population was 6,811 at the 2000 census. Evansville is the largest city in Putnam County and one of its three cities. It is located on the right bank of the St. Joseph River in central Indiana. The first Europeans to visit Evansville were French traders and missionaries who came to Indian Nations trade goods in 1679-1680. However, it was not until 1795 that a permanent settlement was established by Scotsman John Anderson and his family after they became leading factor in what would become the Evansville area. In 1814, General David Williamson's army burned down Anderson's cabin which later served as a trading post for Native Americans known as the Shawnees and Wyandots. American historian Fawn Meeks has written that this event "marked an epochal shift from British rule to American hegemony." The town rapidly grew with new arrivals during the 19th century as Methodists, Baptists, Presbyterians and other denominations began settling in what would become known as "the Great Migration". Today, Evansville remains one of America's most diverse communities with people from over 150 countries living together within its boundaries. In 1847–48 building started on what would becomeknown as "The Star", now home to Nashoba Biltmore Lodge #521D & #522D & their associated restaurants and retail businesses across four floors inside an old Masonic Temple built around 1892-1893 by Wm Dillard (founder of Dillard’s). One hundred years later – on January 23rd 2019 – The Star caught fire causing extensive damage but no loss of life; however it still stands unused today despite being registered 509-2-1903 through arson prevention services!
