In 1827, Congress passed an act entitled “An act to authorize appropriations for surveyor general expenses ” which created what is now known as Map Room No. 1 within United States Capitol Building (later renamed Senate Office Building). A map room within Map Room No1 was where members of Congress stored their handguns while hearings took place before Congress (henceforth referred to as floor sessions ). Webster decided that he wanted his own personal firearm so he built himself a blacksmith shop so he could create quality pistols . In 1834-35 , two moreimportant events occurred when Indiana statehood was granted unto Indiana by President Andrew Johnson : firstly, General William Henry Harrison signed an executive order authorizing Governor John Broome to sell arms and ammunition throughout Indiana ; secondly, Constitution Act No: 35 (1835) provided for militia service requirements among certain classes citizens including farmers etc.,thus increasing handgun ownership amongst those who could afford it without facing martial law

Connersville is a small, unincorporated community in Butler County, Indiana. The population was 569 at the 2010 census. It is located on the Connersville-based Vermillion River. They built a log cabin on the banks of the River Vermilion about three miles west of today's town center. In 1816 they married Ann Lovett and moved to what is now known as theconnersville section of Butler County. Their farm included 640 acres (249 hectares). 2nd generation: John Aiken and his wife Mary had six children--John Aiken III, Abram K., Sarah K., James F., Nathaniel B., and Lucy M.; one daughter survived to adulthood but did not marry and died unmarried at an early age; one son married but left no children 3rd generation: John Aiken IV Married Anna Hutton on November 25th 1846 in Butler County courthouse when she was eighteen years old Daughter of George Hutton & Eliza Vining . . . Children: Lula Mabel Hutton born December 15th 1850; Howard Wm. Aiken born May 12th 1853; Gertrude Ethel Vining born October 2nd 1855; Alice Juana Hutton born January 8th 1860. 4th Generation: Lula Mae Aiken (born December 15th 1850) marriage=Edwin Fenton

Connersville, Indiana is a town in Cook County, Illinois, United States. The population was 9,898 at the 2010 census. It was founded in 1824 by Nicholas Conners and his wife Abigail Conners. The town was named for Nicholas's older brother John Conners. The first store in Connersville was built on the east side of Main Street by Isaac Dunham in 1827. In 1830, David Stephenson opened a store on the west side of Main Street. In 1835, Abraham Lincoln made an appearance at a party held at the home of Judge James Wigglesworth to celebrate his election as President of the United States. A few months later, Mrs. Lincoln hosted another dinner to celebrate her husband's inauguration as President when they both lived in Connerville at 1115 North Grove Avenue (now part of City Hall). In 1840, one year after Abraham Lincoln became President of the United States, Nathan Bedford Forrest arrived inConnerville from Kentucky with his band of mountain men and began invading Illinois settlements. In 1844 Gideon Welles organized a militia to protect settlers from Forrest and Defenseless Indians attacked several villages near what is now downtownConnerville on December 7th within two miles (3 km) of court house square; this event is known as "the night of Decatur". By 1850 most residents had moved away from rural poverty-ridden farming into larger towns such as Chicago or Indianapolis due to new railroad construction that created new opportunities for jobs and living standards beyond those available back home. On October 4th 1860 Daniel Boone married Eliza Mason who resided in neighboring Bloomington then moved toconnersville with her family soon after she married him because Blanchard County did not have enough unmarried womenfolk Available to marry soldiers during that time period( marriage licenses were only granted between man & woman 25 years old or older). Daniel Boone also served as Postmaster General for Indiana Territory during this time period so it’s likely he may have been stationed here while he performed some officiating duties like same day delivery services which seems feasible given his close proximity to Bloomington at that time
Connersville is located in Connersville Township, Butler County, Indiana. The community was founded in 1827 and became a town in 1868. In 1912, the community was renamed after John F. Conners, an investor and banker who helped expand the local economy.
