Brownsburg is a town in Harrison County, Indiana, United States. The population was 1,814 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Terre Haute Metropolitan Statistical Area. Brownsburg is located on the bank of the White River and on the edge of an agricultural area that has been shrinking due to increased competition from nearby Gary and Lafayette. The first permanent settler in what is now Brownsburg was David Brown, who arrived in 1824. He built a cabin near what is now downtown and started farming. By 1830, he had erected a large log cabin which still stands today as the centerpiece of Main Street in Brownsburg. David Brown's descendants continued to live here until about 1850 when they moved to Lafayette. In 1853, Rev. James Hensley organized a Methodist church in this community and named it Brownsburg after his home town of Carrickfergus (now Glasgow). Reverend Hensley also founded one of America's earliest school systems with two schools – one for white children and one for black children – both located on First Street between High Street and Market Street today. The post office at first called Brownsburg nothing but "Carrickfergus". After becoming known as Brownsburg, it changed its name three times (1865-1867; 1870-1871; 1873-1874) before settling on "Brownsburg" as its current name in 1879. The townspeople voted to change their name again – this time to Terre Haute – after voting on August 14th, 1880 to annex all of Harrison County into IUPUI (then Indiana Normal School). The new city would be called Terre Haute because it was adjacent to Purdue University and the Frenchtown area surrounding it at that time was considered quite rural by American standards! After being annexed into IUPUI by virtue of vote by its citizens,TerreHaute experienced rapid growth thanks to industrial development along I-65 northward from Purdue University during the late1960s through early 1970s while Brownsburg languished behind! In 1973–1974 local businessman Herb Sasse donated land east of Interstate 65 wherelatertheIndiana State Fairgrounds would be constructed including thenthelargest open air arena in America—theBrownsburger Stadium which seat 72,000 people! With State Fairgrounds came much needed job growth for localsthanks largelytoiscrewing operations associated therewith! Today Brownsburg boasts many popular tourist attractions includingitsfamousWhiteRiverFestival which takes place every summeratUS Bank Stadiumincludinga4 day event featuring such classic rock acts as KISS®, Ozzy Osbourneand Def Leppard®! Scope mounts have been around for many years and there are a variety of different mounting systems available. There are two main types of scope mounts: Weaver and Picatinny. Weaver scope mounts are typically designed for traditional rifles, while Picatinnymounts can be attached to any gun that uses an M-LOK connector (see Figure 1). The original Weaver scope mount was created in the early 1960s by Weiland & Sons and became popular due to its ease of use, ruggedness, and compatibility with a wide range of firearms. The design has since been modified several times, most notably in the late 1990s when weaver beganproducing their own versions of the mount using tubular legs instead of screws. These new models were more durable and easier to use but also had some limitations such as being unable to attach optics with Schmidt & Bender sights or having limited spacing between components on the rail. In recent years, weaver has released a new version of theirscope mount known as the Classic Weaver Mount which is designed specifically for bolt-action rifles. The Classic Weaver Mount features a coreless design that allows it to accept both 2x24mm barrels and 4x32mm barrels without issue. Additionally, it offers a number of other improvements such as increased strength and durability due to its use of heavy duty steel tubing throughout its construction. Weaver's original scope mounts were manufactured in various colors including black, blue, olive drab, Coyote Brown (a color used by Special Forces units), desert tan (used by law enforcement officers), light green (used by hunters), olive drab (used by infantry units), gray/silver (.50 BMG rifle platforms) – all with an aimpoint logo displayed on one side near the top rear corner of the tube faceplate assembly (Figure 2). Today, all Weber Scope Mount variations come complete with both an aiming point logo and eye relief adjustment screws on either side of the baseplate Assembly; however they still retain their classic "weaver" style sight posts patterned along center lines at 100 degrees elevation indicating windage/ Zimmermann rates etc.; these post caps have become increasingly rare among modern manufacturers because most now produce threaded bases compatible with today's high quality Aimpoint optics products like those offered by Leupold & Company etc.). Brownsburg is a town in Porter County, Indiana, United States. The population was 5,812 at the 2010 census. Brownsburg is the county seat of Porter County. It lies on the north bank of the White River, just east of its confluence with the Ohio River. The first permanent European settlement in what would become Porter County was made by David Reynolds and his party in 1788. They established a trading post on the banks of the White River and named it Brownsburg after their home town in England. The first settler to come to Brownsburg and develop it as a village was John Simons who built a log cabin on the site that now forms part of Brownsburg High School. In 1814, Benjamin Fenton founded another trading post about two miles west of Brownsburg along present-day US 24. This post became known as Fentonville because it housed most ofFenton's trade with Native Americans near present-day Dayton, Ohio. By 1828, several other settlements had been established within what would become Porter County: Decatur (now Bloomington), Batavia (now Elkhart), Lebanon (later Terre Haute), Brighton (later Wabash), Clinton (later LaPorte), and parts of Warsaw Township and Kankakee Township includingpresent-day Greenfield Village also called West Greenfield Township before becoming part of Porter County in 1895. In 1818–19, James Kapp menaced settlers living near Fort Wayne with bows or crossbows while claiming title to land grant from President James Kapp for his family’s cattle ranch located between present-day Indianapolis and terra firma Toledo, Ohio which he had purchased from Pee Wee Crayton some years earlier; however no damage was done although Indians were seen around fort during this time period according to one account Thereafter Corydon Smith procured arms from Weldon Stuart & Companygunsmiths & they came overland Aug 1st 1822 & began building an artillery battery across White River at modern day Brownsburg where powder magazine still stands today
