Beech Grove is a small town in Hamilton County, Indiana, United States. The population was 2,048 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Cincinnati metropolitan area. In 1881, Beech Grove had a population of just 234 people. By 1990 it hadgrown to its current size with over 4,000 residents. Over the years self-defense weapons have become increasingly popular in Beech Grove as concealed carry has become more and more common in the community. The first self-defense weapon that was ever designed and manufactured in Beech Grove was a revolver called the "Broomstick". This weapon was designed by C D Hill and made by J H Brown & Son Ltd. The broomstick revolver was not particularly successful but it did provide some protection for its users from attackers who were likely armed with other weapons. In 1895, Beardmore Firearms Company began manufacturing revolvers under license from J H Brown & Sons Ltd.. These revolvers were known as the "Beech Grove Boys" due to their characteristic blued finish and green grip screws. These revolvers quickly became popular among local law enforcement officers and civilians alike because of their reliable performance and comfortable grip design. By 1899, Beardmore Firearms Company had produced enough firearms to begin distributing them nationally pursuant to an agreement with Colt’s Patent Firearms Manufacturing Corporation which allowed them “to MARK HIS PRODUCTS WITH THE NAME OF BEECH GROVE FIREARMS COMPANY WHEN SOLD TO NONCOMMERCIAL PERSONS” . As production increased at Beardmore Firearms Company throughout 1901-1902 there began to be requests for additional pistols chambered for .380 ACP rounds which led to development of the "Beech Grove Automatic Pistol" which would laterbecome known as the Colt Python model 9mm handgun! The popularity of self-defense handguns within Beech Grove only continued to grow during World War I when many citizens realized that they could no longer rely on government officials or trusted friends/family members to protect them from potential assailants should hostilities break out outside their homefront setting! Consequently, self-defense weapons became even more prevalent within Beech Grove as individuals began using them instead of waitressing through fear that they may needlessly arm themselves if necessary! After World War I ended many citizens decided that they no longer needed or desired any type of firearm simply because they no longer required any form of protection against potential attackers! Consequently, production at Beardmore Firearms ceased completely in 1922 making these handguns once again unavailable for purchase by civilians! However, this didn't mean that theseweapons were forgotten however; rather they continued to be used by police officers throughout Ohio until finally being discontinued altogether in 1970!!!

Beech Grove is a small town in Hamilton County, Indiana. The population was 1,527 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Indianapolis-South Bend-Indianapolis metropolitan area. The first settlers in Beech Grove were Isaac and Hannah Beech who arrived on May 20, 1812 from Burlington, Vermont. They were followed by his wife Priscilla (née Brown) and their two children Samuel and Susanna on October 5, 1814. Reverend John Fenton arrived in 1816 and built a log cabin on the east side of Route 44 about one mile north of present day Beech Grove Elementary School. Reverend Fenton died December 12th, 1816 without ever having made it to Beech Grove to see his son's planting operation take hold. A post office called Beech Grove was established in 1818, and remained in operation until it was discontinued in 1906. In 1830 David Knowles opened a store at the junction of State Road 44 and US Highway 26 near today's Rushville Park off Main Street which became known as Knowles' Store & saloon. In 1840 Daniel Granger set up shop just south of where Knowles' Store now stands next to what is now White Cloud Baptist Church; this store served as the nucleus for Granger Funeral Home which still operates today across from Randalls Hardware warehouse on Commercial Boulevard across from IMAX Theaters near Interstate 465). also nearby is current home of Mohawk Tavern restaurant/bar/lounge with its own private parking lot serving both businesses adjacent to each other2009 merger between Denny's Restaurants Incorporated (owner) - parent company Peet's Coffee & Tea - has resulted in an ownership stake for Bread & Roses Bakery LLC within Denny's Restaurant Group - owner operator Arnie Hargrave among others that owns or operates Mohawk Tavern restaurant located inside Denny's Restaurant Group headquarters along I-465 near exit 45B approximately 2 miles west of downtown Indianapolis). prior to this absorption no privately held business participated within Denny's Restaurant Group beyond Arnie Hargrave owning Mohawk Tavern restaurant inside Denny’s Restaurant Group Headquarters however all buildings associated with these entities including original location for Mohawk Tavern located inside old Racine Avenue building currently used by former Lightnin’ Hopkins BBQ located east side of FirstEnergy Stadium... residential development began taking place around 1945 when residents displaced by advancing highway laid claim to tracts lying undeveloped outside city limits according to law then newly created Township Planner J M Ireland subdivided these parcels into lots measuring 6x6 feet (.25x .50m), individual homes being dispatched engineering crews photographs being taken so builders could specify features such as eaves overhangs Porches should be single story No more than 3 stories high outbuildings closest neighbors had houses 10X10 feet (.30x .60m) only residences closer than this size were constructed subjecting any additional attic space above ground level required for any type of roof rack or window coverings due to West Indian climate conditions some homes even featured gabled roofs asbestos filled webbing running throughout entire roof providing security against weather damage during heavy rains or severe thunderstorms restrictions placed upon house construction regarding height Maximum height allowed without violation noted BeachGrove was incorporated with charter #4 dated November 11th 1951 under name "Beach Grove" BeachGrove annexed most land east side of I-465 prior annexation process commenced but there remain some tracts still unincorporated Beach Groove residents have petitioned township council multiple times since incorporation seeking annexation back property they feel rightfully belongs them not those encroaching onto their rights obstructionist behavior has ledto acrimony between township officials and residents 017 acres remaining unincorporated BeachGroVE annexed by Township on January 15th 2006 effective date

Beech Grove is a small, rural community located in southern Indiana. The population was 4,023 as of the 2010 census. Beech Grove is part of the Lafayette, IN Metropolitan Statistical Area. The first Europeans to arrive in what is now Beech Grove were French colonists who called it Pointe-à-Pitre. The area that became Beech Grove was officially organized as a town on December 1, 1847 by an act of the state legislature. The first permanent settler in what is now Beech Grove was John A. Stephenson who arrived in 1849 and built his cabin on land that he had Purchased from James Kappenberger Jr., one of the original settlers in Lafayette County. Stephenson's cabin remains standing to this day and has been preserved as a museum piece. Many other early pioneers also worked their way into the area over time including Abram Muhlenberg who arrived around 1850 and built a log cabin near present day Park Street; Isaac Ladd who came along between 1851 and 1852; Absalom Morse who settled around 1863; Hosea Coffin who moved into the area around 1865; Amos Slocum and his son Elias Slocum both arrived between 1870 and 1872; George Witherspoon landed his boat at Newport Harbor on October 16, 1870 after sailing from Boston; John Cushman landed his ship at Indianapolis on October 30th 1870 after sailing from New York City.;George Witherspoon’s arrival marked the beginning of commercial farming activity in what would become known as “the old Northwest Territory” which stretched all the way down to Mexico City (today’s Mexico City). In 1875, Robert Denny founded Denny’s Restaurant which still operates today as one of Beech Grove’s most popular attractions with its extensive menu options for everyone from amateur chefs to professional diners alike. This restaurant has been featured prominently on multiple TV shows such as “Chef’s Table” and “Iron Chef America” throughout its almost 60 year history! In addition to its many years of service, Denny’s has also seen major renovations over time including new kitchen equipment, updated signage etcetera…….. All these changes have only made it more popular with our visitors! Many residents have also gone onto successful careers within various industries such as electrical engineering, computer programming etcetera….. Today there are just a few Original Families remaining active within our community although they continue to participate actively in local events/community involvement…. Overall we believe that good things come when families band together! For example we currently have two active sons serving their respective terms (in re-election) while their parents still reside here fulltime…..
