Businesses such as Weldon Rubber Company (now RexRubber) were founded here during that time period and remain prominent today. As recently as 1984 there were only a handful of businesses left in downtown Andersontown after many closed during tough times for local economies across centralIndiana following several decades with no real increase in industry or jobs outside city limits; more than half all businesses closures occurred within just five years! Despite this bleak outlook many others have since opened up including two new medical clinics combined providing over 120 full-time equivalent jobs which has helped spur growth throughout downtown; restaurants like Zingerman’s Pizza & Grill relocated from north sideinois into what used to be occupied space vacated by banks etc.; another anchor tenant brought new life (and high quality food) back into old buildings near State Street plaza with plans for even more expansions coming soon!
