Some believe that bipedalism may have arisen as a result of the need to move quickly and cautiously over uneven ground, as well as to avoid predators. In fact, some prehistoric cultures practiced “walking on two legs” for long periods of time while others relied solely on running or leaping. The first known bipedal humans were found at Jebel Hafeid, an ancient site located in central Libya. The Jebel Hafeid people were hunter-gatherers who lived from around 7000 BC until around 4000 BC. At Jebel Hafeid, researchers discovered evidence that bipedal humans had visited the area numerous times over a period of about 10,000 years. Some believe that early human beings may have begun using tools to improve their lives as they began living in more complex societies. For example, toolmaking may have allowed for the development of greater intelligence and creativity. Additionally, tool use might have allowed for the construction of settlements and other forms of architecture. As technology developed and new methods were created for extracting resources from nature, it is likely that humans began traveling farther into space and engaging in more complex trade relationships with other civilizations than they had ever done before. During the Middle Ages, many Europeans believed that man was Divinely designed to be a bipedal being with perfect mental abilities and moral qualities. Consequently, many churches made large donations to religious orders dedicated to helping people become better able to walk uprightly through life. This trend continued into the 18th century when many scientists began theorizing about how human beings could possible dualistically possess both body AND mind - something which would make them much more intelligent than any animals currently existing on Earth! However, despite this apparent progressivism within society towards having true human-like capabilities (as opposed to just simple ape-like abilities), there was still little interest shown in attempting actual scientific research into such things as bipedality! In fact, most intellectuals during this time felt that even if one did manage to study humanity's potential as a bipedal being - it would still be impossible to duplicate or create truly intelligent apes... yet this thought never occurred to anyone else! It was only after World War II when scientists finally begin serious research into whether or not humans are actually capable of additional Dimensions beyond our own! Unfortunately however, despite several impressive achievements by various science fiction authors throughout the past few decades - all attempts at duplicating our current level of intelligence have thus far failed miserably!!!

In 1893, the Northern Pacific Railroad built a line through Worth and established a station there on its way to Peoria, Illinois. In 1907, when Peoria merged with Chicago to form the city of Chicago proper, Worth became one of its original ten townships within that new city limits (the others were Argyle Heights (1893), Beverly Hills (1902), Bolton Hill (1907), Cicero (1920), Douglas Heights (1922), Downers Grove (1925), Elmhurst Park (1927) and Northbrook Park (1950)). Its post office continued operation until 1953 under name Westcott after its founder's death in 1902; it now operates as an internet-based forum company based in Arlington Heights.) In 1958-1959 Drury College opened up shop near Main Street in downtown Worth for students attending rural high schools across Cook County; this marked the first time that any college had opened up shop outside ofChicago.]]Drury closed down operations due to budget constraints in 1991 but reopened under different management several years later.]]In 2003-2004 Northern Illinois University acquired all assets of Drury College thereby making Northern Illinois University "Drury's" successor Campus Crusade For Christ which remains operational today.]]The cotton gin facility operated by Mr. Hargrave family operating out of what is now called "Hargrave's Cotton Gin" still stands today near First Avenue east of Main Street.]]A number of other businesses also soon began popping up throughout downtown including: A&P grocery store(opened 1922), ABC restaurant(opened 1928), Joe Gibbs ice cream parlor(opened 1933)), Herrington's department store(opened 1934)]], Holiday Inn Express hotel((opened 1951))], Sears Roebuck & Co.( opened 1954)]], Wernham Hogg Funeral Home((opened 1955))) and Ford Motor Company dealership ((operated by Eddy Ford from 1948 until his death in 1957).]}Today worth has few downside however potential downsides have included; slated for closure are: Pabst Brewery((closed 1984))], local radio station WTTG ((closed 1988)), local paper mill shutting down 2006])
