Bipods come from the ancient Greek word bipoda, meaning two legs. The first bipods were made by doubling the leg of a regular tripod, and then sticking them together at an angle to create a more stable platform. By the 4th century BC, people had started making monopods- just one leg of a tripod was used- and by the 1st century AD, bipods had spread to other parts of the world. In Woodridge, Illinois, there are still many people who use bipods for photography and video recording.

Bipedalism is the ability of an individual to walk on two legs. The first bipedal creatures were animals that walked on four limbs, such as the ibex and elephant. However, this form of walking was not very common until about a million years ago. Then, humans started to develop two separate limb types- one with big toes and one with small toes. This led to different ways of locomotion and eventually led to the development of human bipedality. There are many reasons why humans developed bipedality. One reason is that it allowed us to move more easily through tight spaces and navigate difficult terrains. Another reason is that it allowed us to survive in colder climates because we could use our hands for warmth and construction tools. Finally, bipedality gave humans a unique opportunity to see the world in an entirely new way- by allowing them to walk on two legs instead of four!

Bipods are long, slender, and typically have two metal ends that fit into a small aperture in the upper leg of a bipedal creature. These devices help provide stability for bipeds as they walk orrun. The device's purpose is to allow the biped to move independently of the ground, which gives them an advantage in their environment.

Woodridge is a town in Cook County, Illinois, United States. The population was 9,811 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Chicago metropolitan area. Woodridge was platted in 1853 and named for Captain John Wesley Woodruff, a lieutenant colonel in the Union army during the American Civil War. The first post office was established in 1854. The town was from its base on Chicago's North Side until it relocated to its current site in 1922 when that side of the city became too populous for what were then small villages within Cook County. In 2003, Woodridge became one of nine townships added toCook County by then-Governor George Ryan as part of his "Rodino Plan". The township has been 100% rural since it was created, with only 0.1% of its residents living in downtown Chicago or anywhere near high-density neighborhoods like Wicker Park and Ravenswood Park (the township's largest communities). Today, much of what makes up Woodridge—including most of its churches and schools—is located outside the township line on Aurora Road and other nearby roads running through rural farmland. According to the 2010 census, there are 9,811 people living within Township borders: 6,624 inside Chicago; 527 people who live within 1 mile (800 meters) of Orland Park; 248 people who live within 2 miles (3 kilometers) of Joliet; 154 people who live within 3 miles (5 kilometers) of Rockford; 43 people who live within 4 miles (6 kilometers) of Peoria; and 11 people who reside wholly outside Cook County

The town of Woodridge was founded in 1812 by John and Jane Green. The first post office was established in 1814. The town grew rapidly, and by 1839 it had a population of over 100 people. In 1851, the village of Woodridge was created from part of the townsite.
