This innovative design created a new type of window display which became known as “OmniVision”. OmniVision showed movies, TV shows, advertisements and other materials that were three times as high as ever before! In 1969, Western Electric Company merged with GE Electronics Corporation creating what is now GEICO Insurance Company. This merger gave rise to several new companies including Wilson Optics Limited (WOL) and Sperry Rand Corporation (SRR).
