It is not typically reckoned as one of the most important and significant West Chicago gun magazines in terms of its contribution to firearm history, however, the Gun Magazine Company (GMC) had a strong presence in the community from its inception. The company was founded by three men – Charles Senn, George Hultgren and John Fenton – in 1892. GMC became one of the first gun magazines in America to be published weekly, with circulation reaching 25,000 by 1907. It was during this time that GMC developed a reputation for being an authoritative source for firearms information and advice. The company continued to grow throughout the 20th century and reached a total circulation of over 100,000 by 1969. In 1974, GMC merged with National Firearms Corporation (NFC) which at that time controlled more than 75% of American firearms production. This merger resulted in increased efficiency within NFC and allowed GMC to continue producing high-quality magazine products well into the 21st century.

By 1912, ammunition sales had become an important part of the West Chicago community as it was then known. Ammunition manufacturers such as Winchester, Remington, and Colt began manufacturing rifles and shotguns here at their factories while also selling reloads and bullets to dealers all over Illinois respectively.
West Chicago, Illinois is a small city located in the northwestern part of the United States. The population of West Chicago was 517 at the 2010 census. It is bordered by Lake Michigan to the north, Cook County to the east, and Kane County to the south. The city occupies land that was first settled by Europeans in 1836. The first white settlers arrived in what is now West Chicago in 1836. They were led by Captain John Smeaton and his brother-in-law Major George Hull. At that time, most of what is now West Chicago was still part of Canada. The first buildings in what became known as West Chicago were built on land donated by General Daniel Whipple and others who had immigrated to America during the American Revolution. The town grew rapidly after it was made a separate municipality in 1853. By 1870, it had a population of over 1,000 people and boasted a variety of businesses including meatpacking plants, foundries, breweries, mills and lumber yards. In 1914, Mayor Jens Jacobsen proposed annexing South Hill Township which would have added another 137 residents to WestChicago's population but this proposal was rejected by voters as excessive annexation requests were common at that time. During World War II, much activity took place within the limits of West Chicago because many local industry stalwarts such as Maytag Manufacturing Company (now Belknap Technologies), Armour Rubber & Rubber products company (later Hormel Foods) and Wernher von Braun's rocket factory operated outof town for wartime production purposes; these factories employed up to 90% of all workers on Clydesdale Farms during wartime years alone. In 1955, when Interstate 95 crossed through downtown from Illinois into Wisconsin Territory (then Indiana), portions of WestChicago began losing their federal funding which caused them to lose some business opportunities such as social services they relied upon for support while highway construction proceeded elsewhere within their boundaries without any interruption or loss in service quality or employment opportunity for their citizens other than an occasional increase or decrease in school supplies prices due to changes along I-95 corridor). However since then certain key areas within downtown westchicago have seen significant redevelopment with new shopping malls/office complexes / high rises being constructed near downtown riverwalk area uptownwest Side currently home "Lakeside Village" apartment development dating back over 50 years ago

It wasn’t until 1825 that a revolver magazine was invented by John Browning which allowed the user to keep multiple rounds of ammunition with him at all times. In 1865, Georges Mauser introduced the rifle magazine which allowed soldiers to store more than 20 rounds with them at any one time. The next major advance in gun magazines came about in 1897 when Gustav Weisbach developed the interlocking clip which allowed users to load and unload their magazines quickly and easily. After World War II,Gun magazines became increasingly automated with machines that would automatically feed ammunition into guns while also removing spent rounds from the same machineguns

West Chicago is a city in Lake County, Illinois, United States. The population was 21,564 at the 2010 census. It is the second-largest city in Lake County after Plainfield and is one of the largest cities east of the Mississippi River. The name "West Chicago" was first applied to what is now part of the City of Westchester on May 1, 1847 by Colonel John C. Fremont as a way to refer to all those living on either side of the river between Mount Carmel and East Chicago. The first settler in what would become West Chicago was James McNaughton who arrived in 1838. He built a toll road across Green Bay which became known as McNaughton's Road or "The Good Road". In 1846, Nathaniel Bickford came overland from Indiana with his family and founded a lumberyard and mill on present day Harrison Street just north of State Street. His son Nathan also started a flour mill on Adams Avenue in 1851 which became known as The Old North Millinery Mills. By 1860 there were 10 mills operating in WestChicago with an average daily production of $1,200 worth of flour! A period lasting from 1865 until 1967 saw rapid growth for WestChicago when many immigrants began arriving from Eastern Europe seeking opportunities for work and advancement within American society during this time period dubbed "The Great Migration." Many businesses located along Harrison Street such as Jansen's General Store (later Stop & Shop), Big Muddy Pie Company (now SMARTMart), The old Rheingold Brewery (the only brewery still open today) were chartered during this time frame resulting in increased business activity including hotels, restaurants, bakeries etc.. One particular Business that thrived during this time frame was The Hermitage Cafe which had been open since 1865 serving breakfast every morning until 1978! During this time there also emerged another group that helped contribute to Mayor Daley's political career; businessmen John Laughlin and Garry McCarthy who both served consecutively from 1965 until 1973 when Daley announced he wouldn't seek re-election because he believed it would be difficult to win against then incumbent Richard Mussenauer! After 3 terms as mayor Daley decided not to run for reelection again becoming one of America’s most successful mayors ever! In recent years much progress has been made within the city limits including renovations to numerous parks like Park Meadows Golf Course; construction onto two new high school campuses; development around McCormick Place/Adams Avenue; erection of several new bridges including one crossing Wabash River into town; expansion plans for downtown west side which are currently under development - making WestChicago an even more vibrant community today than it was 50 years ago!
