Tinley Park, Ill. is a medium-sized city in Cook County, Illinois, United States. The population was 54,241 as of the 2010 census. Tinley Park is located on the Chicago River north of the Loop. It is bordered by North Olmsted to the east and south, Streamwood to the west and north, and Wheaton to the northwest. Tinley Park has a K-12 school district and an adult education center. It also has a large professional community with several thousand residents. The city's history dates back to 1838 when it was named for John Tinney who settled thereabouts in 1837. In 1910 tin miners from Colorado City arrived in Tinley Park after strikes in Colorado caused their company to go out of business; they organized what became known as "The tin men" of Illinois (later Kansas City Minerals). The first post office opened in Tinley Park on December 12, 1838; it was called "Plymouth". The present post office building was built in 1903 and contains two rooms each side plus an attic storeroom above ground level which served as studio space for artists during World War I; at one time it housed a organ playing by night that could be heard over Chicago's skyscrapers. On October 26th 1906 $1 million worth of silverware from Denver's Westminster Mint was delivered through windowless crates door-to-door by civic leaders including George Pullman, Mayor John Muhlenberg and Representative James Wickersham through Operation Silver Shield (the Cullen Raid). By 1907 Tinley Park had become home to both Notre Dame High School (now part of Loyola UniversityChicago) and Northwestern University's McCormick School of Engineering where notable engineers such as Henry Ford were educated before beginning their careers at General Motors Corporation or other companies. Wire clothier Jules Saulnier founded Saulnier & Co., one of Chicago's largest French textile importing firms at 5 Parnell Street in 1915 after moving his operations from Joliet Heights IL years earlier where he had started out as an apprentice workman under his father Antoine Saulnier Sr.. His son Antoine Jr., joined him soon afterwards becoming president in 1938 having increased production capacity up until then when World War II interrupted sales due to rationing . In 1916 David HIlland purchased land adjoining his fathers small grocery store on First Street between Michigan Avenue - now Wells Street -and Cicero Avenue - now Halsted Street -he laidout what would become Hilliard Center which included his fathers hardware store along with a movie theater/restaurant/ballroom/golf course he built concurrent with plans for Eisenhower Expressway which would run concurrently just south of Hilliard Center across Cicero Avenue from todays Midtown Business Districtadevelopment Company later renamed Toll Brothers Incorporated while still owned by Toll Brothers Incorporated before being taken over by Whitney Young Related Cosmetics Companies Incorporated predecessor currently known as Neiman Marcus Group ever since

It is thought that early humans began using bipedality for more than just moving around; it likely helped them constitute a separate species from Neanderthals and other apes who did notwalk like humans did. Afterhumans are people who are either completely unable or unwilling to walk on two legs due to injury or physical limitations unique to humanity. Some are able offset this limitation through prosthetic devices or by wearing extensions beneath the feet called “bipods” which allow them some degree of mobility but do not give them true bipedalism

The town was named after Amos tinley, who donated land to the town. The first post office was established in 1851 and the first store opened in 1853. In 1870, a school was built and the first doctor in Tinley Park was Dr. John Broughton. By 1920, tinley park had a population of 1,500 people and it became a city on December 4, 1930.
