Another factor was religious intolerance: many residents of Shilobothaqtaq (the original name for Shiloha) felt that their religion required them to convert to Christianity before they could be considered part of the community proper; when these conversions weren't enough Tolektaq (the new name given to them after conversion) began plots against both Webber and Brown for havingsgnot converted as prescribed by their religion while living amongst them peacefully without interference from above. Shiloh was a town in Cook County, Illinois, United States. The population was 4,812 at the 2010 census. It is the namesake of the Shiloh School District. The first Shiloh post office opened in 1868, and it remained in operation until 1971. The town was named after General Joseph E. Johnston's ill-fated and disastrous invasion of Tennessee in February 1862. Johnston had been ordered by President Abraham Lincoln to invade Tennessee because its Confederate government had not recognized the Union government; instead, Johnston invaded without orders and lost many lives including his own wife and three children. In 1865, General Robert E. Lee surrendered at Appomattox Court House following a long and costly battle that ended with over 120 000 casualties on both sides. At least 5% of all Confederate fatalities were caused by American troops while only 1% of Union fatalities were due to Confederates Shiloh was incorporated as a village on December 12, 1875 from parts of West Springfield and Jacksonvilleville. On January 1st 1907, it became an incorporated town after being passed through two sessions of the Cook County Board of Commissioners without debate or objection from either party - one Republican led by Mayor John Schieffer (a future governor) and one Democratic led by Commissioner John Fenton The first school building in Shiloh was erected on Church Street between First Avenue North and Second Avenue North in 1884 It served as a country school until 1925 when an addition made to the old structure allowed for instruction in high school level courses along with adult classes for males . After serving as a high school for more than fifty years it closed its doors for good on September 15th 2013
