Rollin Meadows became an incorporated village in 1907. The village motto was "Unity Through Diversity." In 1958, Rolling Meadows merged with neighboring towns Spring Grove and Wilmette to form the city of Hoffman Estates. In 2000, Rolling Meadows voters approved a bond measure that funded some major projects such as widening streets and adding amenities like a library and tennis courts to the community.
