In the 1800s, Prospect Heights was a small town in Illinois. It was part of the White Settlement, and it had a gun industry. The gun industry began in 1824 when Nicholas Colt founded Colt Firearms Company. Colt made pistols and revolvers, and he sold them to farmers and other people who needed them for self-defense. In 1857, the American Civil War started, and some of Colt's pistols were used by Confederate soldiers. After the war ended, many people in Prospect Heights started using guns again to protect themselves from robbers and criminals. In 1865, Prohibition became law in America, and this made the gun industry all but dead. However, some people in Prospect Heights decided to start makingguns again. They called their company "Prospect Arms." The company continued to makeguns until 1933. In that year, President Franklin D Roosevelt signed into law the National Firearms Act Amendments which made it illegal to sell any firearms without a license from the government! This caused many people in Prospect Heights to lose their jobs because they no longer had access to their guns.

When these cartridges are finally ready for firing, gas pressure from withinthe gun forces them into engagement with both strikers/hammers at once which causes them to fire one after another, often in quick succession due to Second Amendment rights endowed by our Founding Fathers

prospect Heights is a small town in Cook County, Illinois, United States. The population was 1,811 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Chicago metropolitan area. Prospect Heights is located on the east side of the Chicago River and has a nearly flat terrain made up of small hills and valleys. The river forms most of its border. Prospect Heights was established in 1871 as a residential community for workers on the then-new Milwaukee Avenue railway line who were being relocated from other areas of Cook County. At first it consisted only of workers' cottages along Milwaukee Avenue and near what is now Roosevelt Road; later, houses were built on nearby streets such as Stevenson, Griggs, and Addison Roads. The original name for Prospect Heights may have been "Greenwich", taken from an area in Greenwich Township (now Clinton Township) in East Cleveland that was once called "Greenwich". In 1872, when railroads began to be built through Cook County, Milwaukee Avenue became one of their main routes connecting different towns and villages along their routes; thus Greenwich became another name for Prospect Heights - even though it actually lay within Westchester Township on Lake Michigan's north shore (a distance away from Jackson Park). In 1907 or 1908 – depending upon which source you read – a school building was erected at 501 N State Street by local citizens who pooled money to finance its construction. When that structure burned down in 1912 (it had been used as a barn), they again raised funds to build another school – this time at 301 W State Street which still stands today. That second school also served as the home court for many local teams during those years: including the Blackhawks and Sox; both teams moved out after World War II until they could build new homes elsewhere in town. During World War II too much housing development occurred around South Side neighborhoods so that prospects heights lost some residents while gaining others jobs outside their homes (a trend continued into the postwar period). When Interstate 90 opened up in 1955 bypassing downtown Chicago all together (!), prospects heights saw limited growth due to lack of access to interstate traffic but nonetheless experienced some modest progress over 50 years with commercial establishments popping up here and there like Sears Roebuck & Co., JCPenney et al., among others - although these businesses stopped open or closed abruptly more often than not following changes or developments downtown which impacted truck routing patterns etc... Additionally some interesting landmark buildings like Howard Johnson's Hotel/Motel across from I-90 remain extantalbeit without any associated business operations taking place currently despite receiving numerous offers from developers over recent decades!
Prospect Heights was incorporated as a city on November 15, 1892. It was named for the Prospect Hill estate which had been donated to the city by millionaire industrialist Augustus H. Kelley. The original boundaries of the city were 11th and 12th Streets east of Sheridan Road and 23rd and 24th Streets west of Sheridan Road. In 1912, it was annexed by the City of Chicago.
