When the first firearms were introduced into America, they were not well received by the public. Many people felt that these new weapons were un-American and dangerous. Although this experience made him very popular among criminals throughout America at the time (and still is), it also made him very interested in gun ownership himself. The Prospect Heights Armory was opened in 1893 and has been serving the community ever since. The armory is one of the oldest firearms stores in Illinois, and its collection of rifles, shotguns, handguns, and other firearms is second to none. The armory is also home to a dangerous weapons range which allows customers to test their firearms with live ammunition.

Prospect Heights is a small town in Cook County, Illinois, United States. It was founded in 1881 by John C. Stephenson and his wife, Sarah A. Stephenson. The town has a population of 3,817 as of the 2010 census[1] and is part of the Chicago metropolitan area. Prospect Heights features a mix of high-income and low-income residents. The name derives from Prospect Heights Station on the old Chicago and Northwestern Railroad line. The town grew rapidly after World War II, thanks to its proximity to Loop business districts and its position as a bedroom community for Chicagoans working in the city's larger municipalities. However, because of its small population size and lack of amenities, Prospect Heights has been difficult to maintain over time. In recent years it has been at risk of becoming a ghost town due to the high number of residents who have moved away or died without leaving behind any significant legacy. However, despite these challenges, Prospect Heights remains an important part of Chicago history and culture. Its unique mix of German-American settlers and African American workers helped create one of the most diverse communities in Illinois during the early 20th century. And today it continues to be home to many families who are descended from those who originally settled there more than 125 years ago.

Prospect Heights was once a thriving town in Illinois, but it is now largely forgotten. The town was first settled in the 1840s by Germans who arrived from Germany and Austria. By the 1860s, Prospect Heights had developed into a large farming community with several stores and a school. However, by the late 1800s, many of the German settlers had died or moved away, leaving Prospect Heights abandoned. In 1907, prospectors discovered rich gold deposits near the town. This led to increased development around the Gold Rush era in Illinois, which helped spur growth in Prospect Heights. In 1912, local businessmen formed the Prospect Heights Association to promote social and economic development in the town. The association soon became successful and began developing new businesses and improving roads and infrastructure. However, despite these successes, prospects for growth were never fully realized due to increasing violence and poverty in Illinois during this time period. By 1920, only a few businesses remained in Prospect Heights while most of its residents had either left or migrated to other parts of Illinois or America. By 1930, much of what remained of Prospect Heights was heavily bombed during World War II as part of the Allied effort to destroy Axis forces throughout Europe. As a result of this bombing campaign, much damage was done to buildings and infrastructure within the town including several churches that collapsed from lack of weight - one such church still stands today on Vermont Avenue commemorating this event!
