Plano, Illinois is a city in DeKalb County, Illinois, United States. The population was 509 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Chicago metropolitan area and the third-largest city in Illinois. Plano is home to Texas Instruments Inc., one of the world's largest technology companies. The first Europeans to visit what is now Plano were French traders and fur traders in 1679. The area was first inhabited by a Native American tribe known as Potawatomi. On October 12, 1836, General William Henry Harrison discovered what would become Plano when he rode overland from Fort Madison on his way to battle against Mexican forces near Brownsville, Texas (now El Paso). Upon his return trip across the Indian Trail on October 25, 1836 he found that an Arkansas River valley had been explored byGeneral Sam Houston - this verified that there was land east of Ulysses S Grant's line for settlement. When Harrison returned to Washington D.C., he recommended that Louisiana Purchase be made so that land could be acquired for future settlements along the Arkansas River corridor. In February 1840 President James K. Polk announced via proclamation that $10 million had been appropriated for adjusting boundary lines between Kansas and Nebraska which would include parts of present-day Dallas/Fort Worth and Wichita Falls/San Antonio counties in Texas; these were included within Adams County adjacent to Dallas – giving rise to what is now Plano Township (Dallas) and Park Heights subdivision (Fort Worth). A committee was created with responsibility for surveying boundaries betweenAdams and Richardson Counties while also surveying portions of today’s Irvington neighborhood including what became Plano Township on November 3rd, 1840; this enabled settlers from northeast Dallas into Adams County in order to create a new settlement around what would become Plano where some streets still exist today such as Elm Street – Allyn Road & Hutchins Avenue which served as their courthouse until 1907 when it moved into the current building across Camp Bowie Boulevard from UT Arlington’s Baylor University campus housing section formerly known as “The Old Plantation” planter families began settling here beginning in 1845 immediately following Harrison’s purchase including George Wainwright who later founded Whatley Telephone Company just south of town renamed Wainwright Brothers Manufacturing Co.; soon other pioneers arrived such as John Pemberton who built a cotton gin next door to Wainwright Bros facility before moving his business north two blocks west down Elm Street under guise of selling goods door-to-door called “Indian Head Store” eventually becoming one of America’s leading retail stores open 24/7 until it burned down in 1930 along with many other businesses during Prohibition era because alcohol sales were not allowed inside any public buildings in North Texas then becoming an agricultural center with cattle drives bringing heavy crops upriver each year until being overtaken byHouston after World War II continuing operation through local commercial trucking service through Midtown Houston until it ceased operations December 1st 2003 Brown Deer #4 located about 2 miles northwest corner FM 925 & FM 1094 currently operates as a bed&breakfast inn run by owners Kim & Tim Brown providing daily breakfast services 5am-10pm during regular season plus overnight options are available during offseason months Open late May thru early October closed Sundays except Oct 19th or 20th due Nov 30th

They formed the First Mogul Street Railway Company to build a road between Fort Worth (the location of present day Arlington Heights) and Wichita Falls that opened on December 4, 1870 In 1907 purchase by J C Fields led to establishment ofDallas Cowboys football team as one of Professional Football League's charter franchises along side Boston Americans baseball team Texas Cotton Bowl Classic game played at Raymond James Stadium on January 2nd 1978 featuring Baylor Bears against Texas Oilers On November 15th 1963 President John F Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas by Lee Harvey Oswald
