In 1907, Michael Jaffe became pastor of First Baptist Church in Plano with his wife Anna Jaffe serving as secretary/treasurer; they would serve until her death in 1984. That same year saw the opening of the first post office building south of City Limits Drive which has remained operational ever since - this building currently houses Parkland's administrative offices as well as their Recreational & Wellness Center which opened in 2007! The city limits extend northeastward into neighboring Kane County for about a mile before terminating abruptly at Perry Road within sightof Loop 610 interchange outside Dallas Township - making it effectively impossible for either party to enter or leave without crossing through Dallas Township! Consequently all business activities within city limits take place inside Dallas Township itself... Interestingly enough though, even today some businesses located within city limits do manage to stay open despite this limitation due largely to their location just outside Loop 610 interchange which offers ample access both northbound AND southbound! If you are looking for something more out-there than what is typically available inside citylimits however… look no further than almost anything found on MetroLink Route 47 just outside Enterprise Village!!!

On October 1, 1847, the first permanent settlement in Texas was made on the banks of the Brazos River by a group of American soldiers under General Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna. The town, named Fort Worth, was founded about two miles north of what is now Plano, Illinois. A year later, on November 10, 1848, a group of Texans under Colonel James W. Richardson (brother of James F. Richardson who later became Governor of Texas) founded the city of Dallas on an area near present-day Arlington Heights. In 1850 and 1851 respectively, Dallas and Fort Worth each had a population of around 875 people; however these numbers did not reflect growth as both cities soon attracted thousands more settlers from all over America to their respective areas. In 1861 Plano was annexed byDallas and became its capital; however it reverted to its original name after years when different administrations changed it back to Plano. After World War II ended in 1945 there were many new arrivals in Plano - most notably Korean refugees - which led to increased development and growth in this ethnically diverse city that is today one of the fastest-growing metropolises in the United States.
