Today there are many businesses that have been established within NorthLake borough since it incorporation in 1965 including restaurants like White Castle Jr.'s fast food restaurantwhich has been open since 1964; Goudreau's barbeque restaurant which opened in 1984; an ice cream store called Dairy Queen which opened in 1990; a convenience store called IGA Supermarket which opened in 1992; Sears Roebuck & Company which opened its doors on May 15th 1978 inside what is now known as contaminated land adjacent to business park off Pulaski Road near current day Drive-In Cinema scheduled to reopen under new ownership this fall - currently closed - another significant development within recent memory involving retailer Sears Holdings Corporation headquaters Rockford IL closing down large portion of complex following allegationsilial fraud connected with same - largest shopping mall closures ever seen across Chicagos suburban areas resulting from economic recession - another example being JCPenney department store converted into apartments following bankruptcy filing of neighboring anchor tenant Macy’s Inc.; remaining commercial properties within boundaries of village remain primarily family owned farms / ranches providing basic needs like groceries / feedstock for various agricultural products essential for local farmer communities including eggs / milk from cowsheds ; one notable exception being Wrigley Field baseball field where Cubs game taking place this weekend will be televised live on FOX Sports Midwest serving as final home game before season ends - again highlighting how much township has grown over decades despite lack of munificence from larger municipalities
