Bullets have been a part of Northlake, Illinois since the days of the United States. Bullets were first developed in 1836 by Major James P. Browne and Lieutenant Colonel George Armstrong Custer for the Springfield Rifle Company. In 1861, bullets were used in the American Civil War to help Union troops fight against Confederate soldiers. The use of bullets has continued throughout the years, and now they are used to kill people all over the world. The history of bullets starts with Major James P. Browne and Lieutenant Colonel George Armstrong Custer. They were two of the earliest developers of firearms in America. Browne was a rifleman who also developed cannons for King George III during his time as British Prime Minister. Custer was an artillery officer who served in both World Wars and is most famous for leading what is known as The Great Sioux Raid of 1919-1920, which led to General John Pershing’s infamous “Pawnee Massacre” campaign against Native Americans in Indian Territory. This event helped solidify bullet usage as a weapon across America and provided psychological warfare ammunition to further support the Union cause during The Civil Warrington

Northlake, Illinois is a city in DuPage County, Illinois, United States. The population was 21,826 at the 2010 census. It is the seventh-largest city in DuPage County and the third-largest city in Illinois. Northlake is located on the south side of Chicago and owes its existence to the construction of a levee around Lake Michigan by General George Washington during his time as Commander in Chief of American forces during the War of 1812. The first permanent settler in what became Northlake was John Cook who arrived in 1793. Cook's heirs claimed land east of present downtown Northlake on what is now State Street and north on Kedzie Avenue. A second group of settlers arrived about 1800 and named their town after General James Kasky (1752–1825), an officer with distinction during the War for Independence who had been instrumental in capturing Detroit from British control. After hearing about Kasky's victory at Fallen Timbers over Native Americans near present day Wicker Park, some friends and family members left Illinois for Canada recruited by Captain John Butler (1775–1856) to help drive out the British from that area before returning home to found their new village known as Northmarket on Fox Field east of current day Lawndale Road across from Northwestern University. A post office called NorthLake was established in 1827, but no buildings were ever built there because it was difficult to get adequate postal service due to distance and lack of infrastructure at that time. In 1841, Congress passed an act authorizing Illinois Governor Samuel Janklow to establish a school district withinDuPage County which would include all or part of present-day Northlake Township as well as unincorporated areas westward alongpresent Day Road into Kane County under jurisdiction of Chicago School District #1; this school district eventually became Du Page County High School when it opened its doors on October 1st, 1955). In 1869 Congress passed an act providing for organized public housing within cities limits which would later become known as 'Rosenwald Homes'. The Rosenwald Homes were designed by architect Julius Rosenwald (1864–1939) and became one of America's most popular residential developments with more than 400 homes being built between 1915 and 1930 alone including many for president such as Franklin D Roosevelt (1915–1945). The opening ceremonies took place on April 25th, 1912 when Mayor John Hynes bestowed upon President William Howard Taft honorary citizenship status; Taft then delivered a speech extolling both our country’s great history & diversity before presenting each house unit with a immigrant plaque from Poland & Romania respectively On December 3rd 1912 construction began immediately adjacent to where First Congregational Church now stands complete with 86 units Completed just two years later! Today’s building contains over 300 apartments! Most notably noticeable are two large Pritzker Pavilion stained glass windows!. One portrays Jesus Christ superimposed upon Mount Olivet while another depicts Saint Anne teaching children arithmetic principles outside Of Rome’s Colosseum! Both windows were made possible through contributions made by Mrs Jacqueline de Rothschild (& her husband Baron Pierre de Rothschild). As you walk up today’s street you will see several outstanding examples of beautiful Tiffany Glasses hand blown right here stateside! local artist Ernest Hemingway also contributed artwork throughout much portions currently visible inside these magnificent structures

Northlake, Illinois is a city in Macomb County, Illinois, United States. The population was 14,691 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Chicago metropolitan area. Northlake was founded in 1871 as a small farming community and became a municipality in 1902. In 1974 it merged with neighboring Southfield to form the current city. The history of Northlake can be traced back to 1871 when local farmers founded the town of Northlake on the east side of what is now Macomb County. At first, Northlake consisted of only a few homes and a schoolhouse. But over time, North Lake grew into a small but thriving community that developed into one of the most important agricultural centers in southeastern Illinois. In 1902, NorthLake amalgamated with nearby Southfield to form what would become known as the "city". Through its many years of growth and progress, NorthLake has helped contribute significantly to both its own residents and Macomb County as a whole. From providing essential services such as policing and firefighting to aiding in economic development and supporting civic initiatives,NorthLake has always been an important player in our community storyteller. Today, we continue to grow along with our global neighbors – poised for future success!
On the north side of Northlake is a small town that was once known for its coal mines. The mines closed in the early 20th century, but the town continues to exist as a small community.
