The first rifle to be made in this area was the 1851 Springfield Rifle. It was a breech-loading weapon that used cannons rather than cartridges. Niles is a small town in Cook County, Illinois, United States. The population was 8,751 at the 2010 census. Niles is part of the Chicago metropolitan area. The Village of Niles was organized on November 3, 1836 by Wm. H. Storrs and others as a village under the jurisdiction of the Town of Gurnee. On December 12, 1846, Gurnee incorporation was granted to Niles and it became an official village on February 26, 1847. A post office operated from 1847 to 1860; Niles had one ZIP code from 1951 to 2010: 60523. In 1862 the Township of North Aurora was established within the limits of Niles; it included all or part of what are now Armour Heights and Grayslake neighborhoods on the north side of South Street east of Archer Road in present-day Willard Park district on the south side (the township boundaries were later shifted eastward along Archer Road). On October 14, 1886 Gurnee incorporated as a city with a population exceeding 100,000 people; this made Niles one of two cities in Cook County and one in Illinois that were not charter townships but became cities through annexation by other municipalities (the other being Bloomington). The first mayor was John Fenton with a term starting on January 1st and ending December 31st each year. On May 4th 1893 Mayor John Fenton died suddenly after only 2 months in office due to heart attack while vacationing at his home state's capital – Springfield – which raised some eyebrows since he had been considered more than capable for such an important position given his prior experience as mayor of Gurnee/Niles. His successor was James Meeks who served until 1907 when he retired due to ill health followed by Alpheus Swayne who served until 1916 when he also retired due to ill health until his death at 74 years old in 1938 leaving City Hall empty for almost 50 years before finally being filled by Harry Ziegler who served until 1961 when he resigned after being elected Aldermanic Chairman without having run for office before then

In this paper, we will explore some of the most common gun parts and their history. One of the earliest handguns was the crossbow which was invented by Geoffrey Chaucer in the fourteenth century. Crossbows were used by knights to shoot arrows at enemy troops from a distance. In 1551, Portugueseman João de Nantes built the first handgun using an early form of ammunition called “foco”. Foco guns were simple weapons with a single shot that could be fired through a tube that connected to the breech of the gun. They were very effective at close range but not so great at long range. The first handguns were primitive compared to modern firearms and did not have any sort of magazine or firing pins. These early handguns had crudely carved handles made out of wood or horn which served as both handle and grip for holding them while shooting. The development of pistols began in 1795 with George Brown’s design for what is now known as the Browning Automatic Pistol (BAP). This pistol was designed as an everyday carry weapon that could be loaded with either ball or blank rounds. It was incredibly reliable, easy to use and had a high rate of fire for its time – it was even able to shoot multiple rounds per minute! The BAP saw service throughout World War I until it was replaced by the Japanese Type 97 Rifle during World War II because it lacked firepower compared to American tanks or Japanese artillery pieces. After World War II, handguns became more popular than ever due to their ease-of-use, high rate-of-fire and availability on various platforms such as police departments, military units and hunting leagues alike. Today, many different types of handguns are available on various platforms including semi-automatic pistols (which can only be fired one round per trigger pull), revolvers (which can be fired several rounds per trigger pull) and assault rifles (which can fire dozens or even hundreds of rounds per minute).

Niles was founded by the Niles brothers in 1812 as a small farmstead on the banks of the Illinois River. By 1830, Niles had become an important stop on the Underground Railroad, helping abolitionists escape slavery. In 1837, Niles became the capital of the newly formed Illinois Territory, following its creation from parts of Michigan and Wisconsin. Over time, Niles became one of the most prosperous towns in central Illinois, thanks to its good infrastructure and vibrant business community. However, during the 1860s and 1870s both Niles and its residents were afflicted by economic turmoil caused by factors such as drought and rising prices for goods imported from outside Chicago. Niles Township was organized in 1834. The township was named for General Niles, a hero of the Mexican-American War.
