In 1954, Montgomery merged with another large ammunition manufacturer named Remington Arms Company to form Remington-Winchester Corporation. This merger allowedRemington-Winchester Corporation to become one of the biggest firearms manufacturers in America. During this time period, Remington-Winchester Corporation produced some incredible names such as Superformance Ammunition (SBA), Norma reloading powder (NORM) and Match Class Ammo (MCA). Additionally, Remington-Winchester Corporation was instrumental in developing many new firearms technologies like delayed blowback systems and magazine Loading System technology which helped make handguns more accurate than ever before!
