They had two children: Sarah (born 1886) and John Fenton Jr.(born 1888). When World War I started in 1914, Alice Fenton served in the Women's Army Corps; however, she became ill after weeks of fighting in France so her husband sent her home to rest. After being discharged from the army in 1917 he met Edna Fitzgerald who convinced him to open up a store on State Street called "Fitzgerald's" which soon became one of America's leading department stores catering to women shoppers with its speciality items like lingerie and high-heeled shoes for women not available elsewhere at that time or even locally! They later opened an additional store on North Third Street which still stands today - it is now known as "Alice & John's". After WWI ended Alice Fenton decided it was time for another baby; however Sarah was already pregnant with their third child when they finally did have another baby - this time they named him Charles Edward Fitzgerald! CharlesEdwardFitzgerald grew up learning how to operate his father’s successful business while attending private schools with PTA support through adulthood! He married Edna after college graduation in 1932 but before they could move into their new house due to zoning restrictions they needed approval from the city government so they built one instead! That house still stands today - it is now known as "Edna &Charles'". Mrs FitzGerald ran her successful business side by side with her husband during WWII while he served overseas – giving them both ample opportunity to raise four more children! When CharlesEddieFitzgerald passed away suddenly at age 60 after 43 years of marriage on October 15th 1984 his widowcontinued running their successful business together until 1993 when she retired too – making Alice FitzGerald™ history once again!!!
