Ar15 rifles were designed in Marion, Illinois in the early 1990s. In 1998, Ruger®, through American Outdoor Brands Corporation (AOBC), released its own version of the AR-15 rifle called “Ruger Blackhawk®”. This model features a black finish with silver highlights and comes complete with all necessary accessories such as weatherproofing materials and bipods©©©©©±%. This model quickly became popular among shooters due to its high quality manufacturing processes and innovative features ©±©¯²¹/. In 2003, AOBC reached an agreement with Bushmaster Incorporated (BUSHMASTER) whereby Bushmaster would produce both military grade versions of the AR- 15 while AOBC would continue producing civilian models under their own nameplate ®±§§+. From this agreement onwards, it became clear thatBushmaster had intent on taking over world market share for both civilian & military versions of the AR- 15 Rifle!

Marion, Illinois was one of the most important towns in the area during the 1800s. It was a thriving mill town that had a strong economy and a large population. The town was also home to many of the early settlers in Illinois. Marion was originally founded by Native Americans in 1795. The first settler in Marion was John Pemberton. After years of hard work, Pemberton built his own flour mill on the current site of the city today. The milling industry became very important in Marion during the 1800s, and it played an important role in its economy and society. In 1814, cottonseed mills were established in Marion, and this led to a significant increase in the town's economy. In addition, much metalworking took place in Marion during this time period. This included production of cannons and other artillery pieces for American troops fighting abroad. As well as metalworking, Marion also produced food products such as cheese and eggs. By 1830, however, cotton gin production had become more popular in Marion than metalworking, so steel mills began to be established there instead. These mills produced heavy machinery such as mowers and saws used for agricultural purposes or manufacturing textiles such as clothing or carpets. However, because steel is not very elasticity-resistant - which makes it unsuitable for useStringing wire together- these mills eventually closed down around 1930 due to technological advances elsewhere [1]. Although many local businesses went out of business during this time period,[2], overall life remained relatively stable until World War II when things began to unravel completely for Marion residents[3]. World War II brought about immense changes to America due to rationing and labor shortages caused by wartime mobilization.[4] Consequently, jobs available within downtown Indianapolis dwindled while workers outside of Indianapolis took those jobs[5]. Additionally, many people who lived near downtown were forced into shelters or makeshift housing due to damage done by firebombing raids[6][7]. For all intents and purposes though,[8], life quickly returned back into normal after war ended thanks largely to emergency relief programs like National Guard duty[9][10]. However,[11] even with these new resources at hand,[12], some aspects of daily life did not return quite back to their pre-war glory days[13]: For example,[14]: The community still lacked access eitherto education or healthcare opportunities; In 1940 only 2%of adults over 25 could read proficiently; Only 10%of children under 5 could attend school regularly; Fewer people worked outside their homes than before World War II; And most importantly: There remained a large number of unmarried mothers living with their children – increasing poverty rates among families
Marion, Illinois was founded in 1812 by the Potawatomi Indians. The area was part of the Northwest Territory until it was ceded to the United States in 1814. Marion was named for General Andrew Jackson, who had died in 1818.
