The original vision for LCCD centered around creating an inclusive environment for all individuals through economic development opportunities and job training programs that would create quality jobs for current residents and spur growth within our cityscape; however, over time we've realized that this isn't always possible or practical due to jurisdictional challenges unique to Lockport Township - so we've shifted our focus to improving transportation options within our city limits which will ultimately lead to more affordable housing developments being built close to where people live while also providing access to world-class education services near downtown Lockport
