The Lansing Gun Show takes place every year from October 4 to October 7 and features over 100 exhibitors from all over the United States and Canada. The event has been held in Lansing since 1922, when it was known as the Lansing Armory Show. This three-day event features thousands of firearms enthusiasts from across the country and around the world. One of the biggest attractions at the Lansing Gun Show is the antique firearm section. This area offers a range of old guns dating back to 1859. In addition, there are many new firearms available for sale as well as supplies for shooters such as ammunition, holster manufacturers, optics retailers, gunsmiths, and more. It's no wonder that this section is one of the most popular parts of the show! The next attraction on site is the children's area where visitors can explore instruments used in music and cooking including an arsenal of percussion toys and cookware made by local residents. The Lansing gun parts history begins with the first rifles and pistols in 1837. The city of Lansing was founded by American pioneers, who were looking for a new home after leaving Michigan during the 1840s gold rush. They built a small town on the east side of the river, which became known as Lansing because of its location. One of the pioneer families was the Dewsbury family, who owned land around what is now downtown Lansing. In 1851, Captain John Sibley purchased 640 acres in what is now southwest Detroit from David Ransom and James McNairy for $5 per acre. This land would become one of Michigan's most important agricultural areas and would be used to produce crops such as maize, wheat, beans, carrots, apples and other vegetables for local consumption and export. The Sibley family would continue to own this land until their death in 1907. In 1857, Jane Addams married Fred Stearns (1820-1892). He had been born in Boston but moved to New York City when he was just 17 years old to join his brother Alfred Stearns in business ventures there. When Jane returned to America after living abroad for several years while she completed her undergraduate studies at Yale University (she later became an American professor), she found that her husband had already started a successful furniture company in Buffalo, New York; they had two children together before his death at 44 years old due to tuberculosis three years later. One year after John Sibley's donation of 640 acres to Detroit government officials opened up what is today Henry Ford Road within city limits for public use as a public square. On July 1st 1867 about 50 people participated in a picnic held near what is now State Fairgrounds where they erected a large tent on which they enjoyed refreshments provided by store owner Ewing Colesman & Son including soft drinks made from sugar cane juice and molasses mixed with watermelon seeds (still available today at many convenience stores). These were simple weapons that could be wielded by anyone, regardless of their strength or experience. Over time, however, other devices were developed to make bows more powerful and effective. One such device was the crossbow! Crossbows first appeared in the 6th century AD when they were used by nomadic tribes in China’s Yangtze Valley. By the 12th century AD, crossbows had spread to Europe where they were used by knights in order to attack infantry troops. In 1545 AD, King Henry VIII of England became interested in this new weapon and ordered his armoury to purchase 100 sets of crossbows! By 1602 AD, crossbows had also reached Spain where they were being used by artillery pieces for attacking enemy ships on the seas! By 1700 AD, war between France and England had become increasingly sophisticated; both sides needed new munitions in order to fight effectively. Henry decided that he wanted some of these new munitions so he ordered his armourers to create a gun that could shoot arrows accurately at distances up to 100 yards! This new firearm was called an “epee” after its inventor – Francois Eudoxus de Vergennes (1622-1696). This newly designed rifle was able to fire projectiles up to 50 feet away! The epee soon became popular among European militaries as it allowed them To engage enemies much closer than traditional bow weapons could!

The first store built in what is now Lansing was called "The Store at Mackinac" on State Street near present-day East Main Street in1845 by local contractor John Fenton with a floor area that later increased to 25 feet by 54 feet when an addition were made including a bakery and three stores on Main Street between Grand River Avenue and Ottawa Boulevard (later renamed State Street). A post office called Laporte had been established at Snyder's Ferry Landing on Upper Saginaw River about five miles upstream from today's downtown Lansing when mail started being brought into town overland from Hollandville via Mackinac Island during Springtime around 1800 In 1840 Wm Hildebrandt opened a store at Intersection where Ionia Road now meets State Streets . He imported Norwegian goods which constituted about 50%of his business In 1847 Jonas Nilsen opened his second store at 200 Washington Ave., just south west of current day West Main street corner nd continued expanding operations until 1870 when he closed up shop due to high competition from American stores opening up along Ionia Road . In 1870 Peder Olsen opened what is nowEast Market Place adjacent to current day North Side Square Mall before continuing operations until 1893 when he sold his business outright to Cornelius Vanderbilt Sr.. who renamed it Commodore Vanderbilt House What are currently known as Midtown Plaza mall across Ottawa Boulevard will be home to One Meridian Plaza development which anchors this corridor .
