He renamed it the Kangaroo Gun and began marketing it throughout Illinois and Wisconsin. By 1933, Wade had over 100 Kangaroo Guns on hand in Illinois alone. BB guns continued to be popular through World War II until 1945 when they became illegal under federal law due to their ability to shoot projectiles that could cause harm or death if fired at close range (i.e., within five feet). However, some individuals continued to use them clandestinely until 1949 when they were finally legalized again under state law in New York City

La Grange has a humid subtropical climate that features hot summers and mild winters; average monthly temperatures range from 18 °C (64 °F) in July to 3 °C (37 °F) in January. The community began as an agricultural village founded about 1800 by Frenchmen for export because of its fertile soil. By 1840, LaGrange had become a manufacturing center with mills processing cotton, woolen cloths, sugar beets, cornmeal and other crops. In 1868–69 Irish-Americans arrived in large numbers and began their ownicultural enterprise: they started a grocery store, a bakery and two churches. By 1880 LaGrange had over 25 businesses including five banks In 1923 construction began on Chicagoland's first municipal airport which would later become O'Hare International Airport; this led to increased development around the airport with factories being built on adjacent land such as KFCand Waffle House! The city annexed Addison Township in 1926 which added much needed land around the airport for housing developments; however some residents still resisted annexation arguing that it would put their residential neighborhoods out of reach of jobs at the airport! In 1947-48 when new zoning laws were passed allowing single family homes to be developed near airports it allowed many homebuilders to build bungalows and semi-detached homes near airports becoming known as "LaGrange Hills". Many people who grew up here remain active within local communities such as serving on school boards or donating time or money for charity

La Grange is a village in LaGrange Township, Kane County, Illinois, United States. The population was 1,871 at the 2010 census. It lies on the eastern edge of the Metropolitan Chicago Area and is part of the Chicago–Naperville–Joliet Combined Statistical Area. The name for La Grange comes from an Ottawa Indian word meaning "place where white people can gather to trade." The first European to visit La Grange was Capt. John Horseshoe in 1811 when he and his group were exploring what is now Kane County. He named the site after General James Dunlap's home in Ireland. A log cabin was built by William Deshler on what is now Elm Street in 1824. Captain Horseshoe's group again stopped at La Grange in 1829 while exploring central Illinois before continuing their journey northward. In 1830, George Stephenson founded Stephenson Iron Works here and began producing iron goods for local farmers and merchants. In 1834, Isaac Nutter established a gristmill at this location which became one of the largest mills in Illinois; it still operates today as Nutter Mill #2. By 1840, La Grange had a population of 350 people and a school that served as both a daycare and primary education center for area children until it closed its doors due to financial difficulties in 1865. In 1861, during America's Civil War (1861-1865), Union troops burned down part of White Oak Swamp south of town during their search for Confederate sympathizers among residents who had sided with Union forces against the Confederacy. It wasn't until 1893 that electric lights were installed here; this occurred thanks to funding from Postmaster General Amos Butler earmarked for lighting projects within 250 miles of Chicago along with other towns within Kane County including LaGrangewood Village & North Elgin Township which also received $30 per capita tax rates set aside specifically for rural electrification projects under then State Senator Charles Evans Hughes' Specialty Zone bill (later renamed Rural Electrification Administration). During World War II (1939-1945), American soldiers stationed here performing various military tasks such as constructing airfields or filling up fuel supplies numbered between 3,000-5,000 men total over six months period starting December 8th 1939 up until May 15th 1940 inclusive; most notably Sgt James Fenton who would later be awarded posthumous Congressional Medal Of Honor for his role leading Operation Neptune's Spear which resulted in Japanese surrendering at Tokyo Bay on September 2nd 1945 despite heavy losses sustained by his unit along with many others throughout Japan including Rear Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto himself whose Yoruba nation played an important role militarily throughout Japan while its Emperor Hideki Tojo actively discouraged any open resistance). As more Americans vacated areas inside Japan following victory over Axis forces they often took up residence near major cities such as Osaka or Kobe since these areas lay outside of enemy lines - resulting in increased activity around major city outskirts/spots known locally as 'ghostVillages'. This continued into present day especially around Midway Airport where numerous large military installations are located adjacent to densely populated metropolitan areas making it an ideal place to stash excess belongings should things go wrong such as natural disasters like hurricanes or floods etc...
