In the early 1800s, La Grange Park was a small town in Illinois. It was located about 25 miles north of Chicago on the banks of the River Des Plaines. The town had a population of about 2,000 people and consisted of four villages: La Grange, Arlington Heights, Northbrook and Westchester. The first gun case in La Grange Park was made by Nicholas Colt in 1859. At that time, guns were still being made with wooden cases. A few years later, Nicholas Colt developed a metal case for his guns. He called his new product the “Nicolas-Colt Model No. 1 Pistol”. The Nicolas-Colt Model No. 1 Pistol became very popular and continues to be produced today by many different manufacturers.

Since then, there have been many different versions of the Colt Soft Gun that have been released. Some of these include the Colt Cobra,[4], Colt Python,[5], and Ruger American Pistol.[6] Each version has its own unique features and properties that make it better suited for specific use situations or applications.

There have been many changes to LaGrange Park since its incorporation as a municipality. The most recent change took place when the township became part of the city of Chicago on May 1, 2016. After years of planning by City Hall and local officials, it was announced that all but 8 acres (30 hectares) of what once constituted Greenfield Township would be annexed into Chicago as part of the annexation process for Chicago’s 6th Ward neighborhood…
In 1836, La Grange Park was laid out as a township in the county of Sangamon. The first settler to move into the new township was John Hawkins. In 1838, Captain Abraham Lincoln and his party arrived in Illinois and stopped at La Grange Park for the night. On July 4, 1839, a fire started on the Illinois Central Railroad at La Grange Park and quickly spread throughout the area. The fire burned for three days before it was put out. In 1850, La Grange Park became a village. On October 15, 1860, it became a city with a population of 2500 people. On December 2nd of that year, Chicago annexed LaGrange Park as part of its city limits
