This law lasted until 1968 when it was repealed as well due to changes in state government laws which no longer allowed municipalities such as Huntley to establish their own ordinances regulating handgun possession within their boundaries. Softgun cases continued to occur throughout this time however because people still needed them for personal use only or when traveling outside their home city limits where they were not subject to regulation by local governments (although softgun possession did continue through this time). The currentsoft gun case law in Cook County, Illinois began appearing in court decisions in 1984 after a decision by the United States Supreme Court regarding New York City’s recent ban on handguns owned by civilians (.380 caliber) while possessed with a permit from another municipality (.36 caliber). At that time, all pistolcaliber handguns were regarded as softguns under New York City ordinance because they had less stopping power than rifles (rifles being classified as “long guns”). After learning about this history, Cook County Circuit Judge Jeffrey Linn decided that .380 caliber pistols which are registered with the National Firearms Act must be treated as firearms under Cook County statute even though they are classified as softguns pursuant to New York City ordinance because these pistols were designed primarily for self-defense and hunting purposes and do not have the same performance characteristics as rifles which are classified as long guns under New York City ordinance(see citations below). As a result of this ruling, all registered .380 caliber pistols become firearms subject to California Penal Code § 921(a)(9) if they are possessed within California Citations: New York v Barden (1984), 523 U S 806; United States v Heller (2008), 553 U S 662; Calvert v Holder (2012), 136 S Ct 1227; Koppel v Rumsfeld (2002), 59 F 3d 1043

Industry has been a majorstay for Huntley since its founding; today there are several small businesses employing about 60 people localized within the limits of Huntleys two schools: John F Kennedy High School and Freeman Middle School which offer education through 6th-12th gradesinderstenships or full scholarships to students who have excellent Academic records (85% or more). The primary industry within this tight-knit community is agriculture with corn beingthe main crop grown but also hay, cattle, soybeans and other vegetables are produced as well; some fruits such as apples or pears are also produced year-round but typically during fall season when demand is highest

Huntley is a small town in Kane County, Illinois, United States. The population was 5,631 at the 2010 census. Huntley is part of the Chicago metropolitan area. The first settler in Huntley was John Higginson, who arrived in 1837. Huntley was platted on May 3, 1840 by Wm. Ahern and James Sheehan. At that time it consisted of two or three houses and a few acres (0.8 km²). In 1848 the town had 10 residents and a postoffice operated for two years; during that time no other businesses were registered with the government. In 1857 Dayton Siders donated land to make way for what would become Huntley Park—an 8-acre (3 ha) tract which now includes nearly all of the town center and most of its outlying areas. The park served as an open space until 1886 when it was developed into an exclusive gentlemen's club known as "The Lodge." There are still remnants of this early era community life today such as the numerous gardens located near Center Street and North Avenue in downtown Huntley. During World War I, Huntley’s local soldiers helped with military activities throughout Illinois including being called to active duty at Camp Douglas outside Joplin on October 16th 1915 before leaving for France on October 26th 1915 under General John J Pershing’s command. After returning home they took up arms again to support their local congressman from Cook County George L Martin against Mayor Tom Ryan who represented their ward in Congress.. Many residents also volunteered their services within Cook County state troops during World War II through both National Guard units & Regular Army units while others worked day jobs to contribute towards war efforts……….Many items found at various campsites throughout Kane County during WWI-1940 were contributed or given away by citizens of Huntley during that time frame….. All items collected during camp site visits were inventoried & released after providing contact info…..Today many people enjoy hiking, biking or just taking long walks through beautiful HUNTLEY PARK every day!

Huntley was a small town in the north-central part of Illinois, United States. The population was 1,500 at the 2000 census. It is now a ghost town.
