At PMI, Brown & Williamson Tobacco Company's taser division was founded under the name EMCO Industries Ltd.. In 2000, Brown & Williamson Tobacco Company merged with international cigarette giant Philip Morris International (PMI). As part of this merger, EMCO Industries Ltd.'s taser division became part of B&W Motion Pictures plc., which was also acquired by PMI in 2002. From2002 through 2008, B&W Motion Pictures plc.'s taser unit activities originated out of its European headquarters located at Paddington House near London’s Palace Yard before moving to its new headquarters at The Walk offices within Oxford Street Westminster during 2009-2012 inclusive[1]. It should be noted thatEMCO Industries Ltd.'s previous headquarter building still remains operational as office space for their Corporate Affairs department[2]. Since 2002 when B&W Motion Pictures plc.'s taser unit activities originated out of its European Headquarters located at Paddington House near London’s Palace Yard before moving to its new headquarters at The Walk offices within Oxford Street Westminster during 2009-2012 inclusive,[1], there have been several revisions and updates to Tasers including: -introduction of RED TASER® II technology into existing models; -development/use/commercialization/adoption of DAZYSHARE ® software suite as weapon discharge management system; -multi-faceted marketing campaign involving both social media platforms such as Twitter and YouTube ; -marketingcampaign focused on educating general public about proper care and handling of electrical stun guns; -talkshow appearances on various television networks such as ABC News Live ET etc.;

Additionally, Hinsdale is home to several major employers including GEICO Car rental company (the second largest employer in town), Sears Holdings (a retailer once considered among Chicago's top ten companies) and First Midwest Bank & Trust Company ().
