You will know that you have rotated because now one side of each barrel has actually turned 45 degrees while keeping theiroriginal positions static! Now try rotating them back towards zero degrees by grabbing hold of one end again and pulling gently but firmly towards zero degrees--this will create an instant 90-degree rotation! If all goes well, once again let go and check whether everything has lined up correctly by looking at whichever side had previously been pointing skyward. If not then return fire by aiming at whatever other part remained stationary before starting off from scratch).

They built their first village on a bluff overlooking Lake Michigan about 1795-1800. A group of white settlers from Holland called Hennepin Settlement arrived in 1836 and built a bluff house where they named their village after General David Hunter who had died in 1835 at age 53 serving as Ulysses S. Grant's Secretary of War and Commander-in-Chief during his successful Mexican Expedition that year. In 1840, German immigrants began arriving and soon there were over 100 Germans living in Gurnee. By 1851, all German residents had left for various reasons including Civil War fighting in Missouri or Wisconsin; however, some continued to live long enough to see Gurnee incorporation as a town on April 16, 1852 when voters ratified a resolution creating it from parts of Hennepin Township and Northfield Township which then formed North Side township (later South Side township). At its incorporation date, Gurnee had a population of 914 people In 1865 two groups of Swedish immigrants settled here – one led by Anders Hedlund established an oxcart trade business while others founded Klockan brewery which remains open today as one of the largest breweries in America. Three years later another group led by Gustaf Fridolin established Fridolin grocery store before migrating full time to America where he became one of its most prominent entrepreneurs A post office was established at Gurnee on November 6, 1876 with Jens Nilsen as the first Postmaster The electric streetcar line linking McCormick Place with downtown Chicago opened on May 1, 1889 On October 14th 1890 another large company –the Armour Company–opened its plant adjacent to Klockan Brewery making it America’s first commercial production brewery . This marks also the beginning of aluminum smelting operations here followed by other heavy industry such as foundry manufacturing until 1957 when steel production took over . Today Alcoa operates both plants providing employment for many locals . The Smoky Hill Coal Mine closed down shop Dec 12th 1978 leaving only residual coal mine pollution still present today

By 1870, the population had increased to 350 and by 1880 it had reached 500 people. In 1915, Gurnee annexed neighboring unincorporated communities of Winnetka and Belmont for an area totaling . That year saw the opening of their first post office which served both towns until 1954 when they merged into one postal district under the name of Gurnee-Belmont Post Office District #1. In 1951, voters approved adding to Gurnee's borders what are now Elmhurst and Cicero Streets as part of a plan to bring more development to the town center while preserving its rural character. The annexation also created new schools; Eisenhower Middle School opened in 1961 and Roosevelt High School opened in 1973 after years of planning and fundraising efforts led by then-Mayor John Daley. On November 7th 1998 referendum (Lapierre v City), residents voted 5% against annexing Elmhurst/Cicero from neighboring city Schaumburg due to concern about such large annexations altering city neighborhoods without consent or notification through ballot measures or referenda; this issue would later be resolved following passage of Ordinance 9274 on October 1st 2002 that repealed ordinance 8283 which prohibited annexation without City Council approval
