Dear Editor, As a firearms enthusiast for over 20 years, I have had the opportunity to observe many types of handguns and rifles. In my experience, there is one type of handgun that is particularly effective in stopping an assailant fromemanaging his weapon- the gun choke. A gun choke consists of a metal or plastic tube that is inserted into the barrel of a firearm in order to prevent it from firing. The choke can be made from a variety of materials, including metal pipe, wire, cotton string, and even cloth. The purpose of a gun choke is twofold: first, it stabilizes the firearm by keeping it aligned with the shooter's eye; second, it keeps the gunman from using his weapon to shoot accurately. Gun chokes are often used on assault rifles in order to increase accuracy and reduce recoil. They are also used in shotguns because they allow farmers and fishermen to shoot more accurate rounds into tight spaces without having their weapons go off prematurely. Despite their usefulness as firearm chokes, most people don't know about them. This lack of knowledge likely has something to do with their obscurity- most criminals seem not motivated by financial gain or revenge when attacking someone with a gun choke instead of simply shooting them dead outright. It's time we started talking about these devices more seriously and educating those who own them about their uses so that they can protect themselves and others from danger.

Agriculture has included woolen textile production since the late 1800s; however, recent years have seen a resurgence in corn ethanol production as well as other agricultural products such as fruits and vegetables. Manufacturing has included a variety of products such as consumer electronics, truck parts, aircraft parts,and footwear among others. In addition to these two industries, there are also several small businesses located throughoutGrayslake that serve an important local market

Grayslake was founded on February 15, 1846, by James S. Grays and his brother-in-law Samuel Latham as a post office named for Gray's Creek in Scotland. The name may be derived from the Irish Gaelic word "greag" meaning "edge" or "border." Grayslake is located at (41.566667, -88.66667). The community was originally built around a schoolhouse that served as both a public school and farmstead until 1868 when it became an incorporated village under state law known as the Municipal Corporations Act of 1865. On November 3rd of that year Alfred Payson Chappell donated land to build what would become Grayslake High School; one address on this property remains today: 7609 West Lancaster Road (). In 1898, two new high schools were added to serve Grayslake – Riverside High School on Northwest Side Avenue and Park Ridge High School on Niles Street – making it one of only three towns in Cook County with more than one high school serving students throughout grades 9–12 (. The others are Elmhurst (grades 9–12), Streamwood (grades 9–12), and Vernon Hills (grades 10–12). In 1924 Dick Sears opened his first store in downtown Grayslake; Sears still operates his flagship store there today as Sears Holdings Inc.'s largest retail operation outside of North America (). From 1926 to 1965 three other stores were added to serve Grays Lakeshore: 12th Street & Plymouth Rd., Wabash Ave./Highland Dr., & Harrison Rd.; these stores are now all closed down but their building remain standing within walking distance of each other across Wabash Ave./Highland Dr.–making it easy for locals to visit them during business hours! With progress towards suburban sprawl beginning in earnest in the early 1960s with larger homes becoming available closer to city services rather than coming out into rural areas like earlier versions did, many residents began moving away from downtown along Wabash Ave./Highland Dr., rejoining what had once been called “the heart” of their town...though some continue living there despite having less access to city services nearby due increasingly high prices for central park space (), graying out even further over time
