Franklin Park is a small town in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. The name comes from the Benjamin Franklin estate where he lived and died. The area that would become Franklin Park was first settled by Germans in the 1800s, and it wasn’t until 1851 that they founded what is now Franklin Park Township. In 1857, the same year as Lincoln was inaugurated as President of the United States, a group of men from Franklin Park led by John J. Reynolds built a rifle range there. It wasn’t until 1865 when local residents voted to incorporate their township into Cook County. On July 6th, 1866, President Abraham Lincoln was assassinated in Fordstown on Long Island City Peninsula and his Vice President Andrew Johnson took office as the new president of the United States. Johnson had been elected on an anti-gun platform and he quickly began to roll back many of the progress made under Obama. He moved to put more restrictions on gun ownership and sales in America, which resulted in mass shootings across America like Sandy Hook Elementary School and Aurora movie theater. In 1971, Mayor Richard Molloy announced plans to build a new park near downtown Chicago called “Franklin Park” after then-President Richard Nixon proposed increasing funding for mental health research at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. After years of planning and fundraising largely funded by corporate sponsorship (a practice known as “gift giving”), construction started on Franklin Park in 1974 with much fanfare including free concerts by heavy metal legends Kiss during their US visit. The park has since hosted such events as NBA Finals games (2007), World Cup matches (2002 & 2006), or Blackhawks games (2012). Amongst other attractions located within or adjacent to Franklin Park are two botanical gardens complete with 56 different types of plants; Klein Botanic Garden features over 150 species from around the world; Regal Ballroom offers seating for 1,500 people across three levels with panoramic views overlooking Lake Michigan; while also home to five large ponds complete with barksquid fishing endemic only to this region: Hiawathapool (#1) [7 feet], Wabash #2 [10 feet], Big Eads Pond [12 feet], Midway Pond [14 feet], and Carver Pond [16 feet]. In 1795 Englishman John Smith discovered land that would later become Franklinspark when he travelled downriver from Lake Michigan to trade goods with Native Americans travelling through this region on their way westward into Canada or Mexico City. After years of speculation about whether or not such an area could be developed as a public park due to its sprawling size or lack thereof, representatives from Cook County Commissioners District 6 met at Randolph Hall on April 12th 1865 to discuss plans for creation of a new public domain within Cook County which would include much of today's Franklin Park including present day Humboldt Park neighborhoods along with areas located easterly (today's Oak Lawn) and northwest (present day Willis Glen)of present day HydePark so as make it possible for future generations to enjoy theselands without fear that they may someday become part of city limits or be annexed by another municipality In 1867 commissioners recommended that Humboldt Park establish itself as its own municipality separate from Cook County; this proposal failed because Mayor Richard Jealous felt that annexation would only benefit Humboldt Parkside businesses while disadvantaging other parts of town . On September 25th 1870 Commissioners voted 3-to-1 in favor of annexing Humboldt Parkside into Cook County after hearing heated arguments between citizens there about how best they should serve their community . With local consent given subject matter had changed little since 1862 when original description included all current municipalities including Garfield Ridge which lies just east side Of Roosevelt Road & borders Addison Municipal Limits Although annexation never happened residents continue using Randall Hall name until replaced by "Franklin" name in 1926 following incorporation by cityhood act becoming official then Today many residents claim ancestry back beyond founding date & some still hunt game inside park boundaries although hunting season has ended

This law required all Americans over 21 years old to have a valid license to own and carry any type of firearm: pistols (including revolvers), rifles (except shotguns), shotguns, handguns (except machineguns), muzzleloaders ( including slugs and balls), revolver cartridges, black powder cartridges, percussion caps and “adapters” for using other types of ammunition with firearms that did not chamber rounds containing lead or silver nitrate pellets. The regulation associated with firearm clothing also expanded during this time period. For example, several states began requiring women to wear pants when carrying a gun for protection purposes; however, this requirement was often ignored outside of rural areas where female empowerment was not typically taken into account.
