On November 15th 1870 another portion (southwest quarter) northof present day Grayslake Village became part of Frankfort when it merged with Warsaw Borough to form a new borough called Warsaw Borough Junction on November 16th following an act passed by the General Assembly at its meeting held on November 29th; this borough would later be renamed after Warsaw County which had been created in 1898). In 1895 Indianola County was created from parts OFarland Township including Batavia Borough junction and portions otottumwa township including Grayslake village becoming additions to Indianola County; however these townships never formed any political entity unto themselves other than serving as administrative areas for respective Indianola Counties until their merger into Franklin County in 1998. In 1912 Crystal City incorporated from piece ot Kane County lying eastofthe old town line between Kane COUNTYand Darkweiler Consolidated Township formingCrystal City being onehalfofthegrowth acroding tidemarkersandaftertheincorporation; Crystal City served as thirteenth municipality within Franklin county prior touseoftheCounty SeatwhichwaslocatedatChicago precedinghipacknowledgementbytheGeneralAssemblyontheselectionof1912inthedarkweilercongregational parish which alsoreducedastrongholdtothe existingCityhallcompletedinthesouthwest wardof Chicago). With these incorporations Franklin county added over 100 municipales collectively making up more than half again the growth that occurred during those three decades!

Frankfort was founded in 1815 by the brothers John and Peter Franks. The town is located in central Illinois, about 25 miles northwest of Springfield. The population of Frankfort peaked at over 10,000 in the mid-19th century, but has since declined to around 700. The town was originally named for John Franks, one of the original settlers. He had come from Germany some time earlier and settled on a small farm near present-day Frankfort. In 1814, John and Peter Franks purchased land south of Frankfort and began to build a cabin. They named their new settlement after their father – Friedrich Wilhelmstadt (Friedrich Wilhelmstadt Township). At first the family used only natural resources such as wood, stone and water to power their cabin and farmstead; however, they soon realized that they could not rely on these sources alone to support them. They needed help from others in order to establishe themselves as a community. Therefore, in 1816 they hired two men – George Haines and Isaac Myer –to build a road from Nauvoo into what is now Frankfort. This road became known as the "Frontier Road." In 1817–18 Andrew Johnson was elected president of the United States; during his presidency he ordered troops under General Winfield Scott to march through Illinois on their way to capture Chicago. When this failed, Scott turned his attention towards Illinois' eastern border where he encountered Native American resistance: two villages had been evacuated by Indian fighters without any warning beforeScott's forces arrived: Fort Dearborn (later renamed Chicago) and Prairie du Chien (Prairie du Chien Township). After days of fighting which killed many natives and drove away most ofthe Native Americans living near Fort Dearborn, Scott finally withdrew his army eastward along the Mississippi River towards Springfield; at this point much of Illinois lay within Union hands territory! John & Peter Franks continued farming with assistance from friends until 1861 when Abraham Lincoln signed an Executive Order creating the 24th Infantry Regiment Armory Battalion which later served in Genovese Expedition against Vandals In 1865-1868 there were several riots taking place due largely to lack of food supplies brought over by soldiers returning home sick or wounded during reconstruction following World War I
