The South side of town has more modest architecture with larger homes closer to freeway exits giving it a feel similar to other Midwestern cities like Omaha or Minneapolis while still having access to some of the best shopping around such as Carmine’s Pizzeria & Taverna located right next door to Harlem Globetrotters basketball arena/the brand new Harry Potter bookstore complex built adjacent to Soldier Field football stadium - both just minutes away by public transportation!
