There are also a few specific barrel diameters that are popular in AR 15 rifles, such as the 6.5 Creedmoor or 7.62x39mm caliber. The purpose of this paper is not just to discuss the history of ar15 upper receivers specifically, but also to provide a general overview of all things related to them. The first AR 15 rifle was released in 1973 by Colt Firearms Company under the title “ Commando”. This rifle was designed primarily as a training tool for law enforcement personnel and militaries across America. It featured a lightweight aluminum chassis with a collapsible stock and an M16-style barrel utilizing an 82-inch length overall (longest barrel on the market at the time). The Commando was originally sold only to police agencies and military units within America. In 1975, Colt licensed their design to Heckler & Koch Company who then proceeded to produce multiple models over the next few years including the HK416 assault rifle which became one of the most popular rifles on Earth due its high lethality rate when fired offhand. Later that same year, Colt decided they no longer wanted their name associated with any guns after seeing how much regulation they were facing from government officials regarding firearms sales within America alone (specifically due to handgun bans). Therefore, they began producing what would become known as “AR-10” rifles which featured freefloat handguards instead of frame rails and use 10-round magazines instead of 8 rounds like their Commando predecessor did (although both versions still used A2 stocks). These guns were later rebranded as “AR-15” Upper Receivers after being given approval from Colt Firearms President Leonard Einhorn (who actually approved these rebranding decisions himself). After gaining approval from Einhorn, ArmaLite Corporation then produced what would become known as “ar15 uppers” which featured forged 6061 T6 Aluminum receiver extensions along with black nitride coated internals for durability (which helped increase accuracy when shooting outdoors). Another version produced by ArmaLite called the DPMS Reaper had a black phosphate finish while still sporting chromelined barrels and A2 stocks though it lacked 6061T6 extensionations/coatingings etc.). Finally, another company named Daniel Defense PHX LLC producers what is currently known as simply “ar15” Uppers which feature full metal receiver extensions/coatingings/interior components etc.. These all make up today's vast majority of available ar15 Upper Receivers out there!

Evanston started as an Indian settlement on April 12th of 1763 by Captain George Washington during his march from Kaskaskia Heights to Independence Hall near present day Kane County, Illinois. The town was named after Sir Isaac Newton who lived there at that time before moving to London later that year with his wife Mary Howe and their three daughters- Anne Hutchinson (the first female minister in the United States), Priscilla Rudd (the daughter of printer Robert Rudd) and Lucy Stone (daughter of revolutionary leader Josephine Stone). The new town was laid out according to a grid plan developed by Ezra Stiles when he served as Surveyor General for Cook County from 1831-1833. The townships within Cook County were established one at a time with Evanston being formed on July 24th of 1835 when parts of South Side Township were annexed into what would become Evanston proper The original plat for Evanston listed four streets running north/south: Dearborn Street (later renamed Western Avenue), Elmhurst Road (now Prospect Avenue), Irving Park Road (now Northwest Highway)and Westcott Avenue In 1864–65 George Pullman began construction on his Pullman Palace Car Company’s new railroad station which would become one of Chicago’s most iconic landmarks After years of debate over whether or not to annex Van Nuys Township into Cook County – which would have allowed development along Dearborn Street between State Street and Archer Avenue – officials voted 3-2 on January 7th, 1907 to annex it into Evanston rather than Van Nuys With its annexation came many changes for Evanswoodians including increased access to education; more housing developments; job growth across all sectors; growth in downtown areas such as River Walk; increase in cultural activities such as art shows etc.; mansion enclosures becoming less common Many famous people have either resided or worked here like Harry Houdini or Warren G Harding . Some notable events that took place here include: Abraham Lincoln's inauguration speech given outdoors under full view of City Council members Daniel Webster AND Edwin Groves' delivery keynote address at ISCAC conference attended by Presidents Franklin D Roosevelt & John F Kennedy A massive fire destroyed much of downtown Evanswood on May 15th 1908 while firefighters battled multiple floors inside buildings resulting in over 100 fatalities
