This structure served as headquarters for all future Targets Holding Companies operating withinEast St. Louis until it burned down in 1951 after being damaged by a fire caused by sparks flying out of newly installed electric targets placed on top of an oil well laager facility operated by Midway Oil Refining Company Incorporated.. The site now occupies part of the old Masonic Temple complex along Market Streets east side Of The First National Bank Building where Century 21 real estate operates today .. In 1978 Target Holdings purchased what is now known as White Eagle Shooting Supply located at 5800 North Central Avenue Suite 309 Chicago IL 60611 USA from Fleming Industries Incorporated..
