On December 6, 1951, the East Peoria High School administration announced that it was going to build a new gymnasium. The previous high school had been built in 1924 and was in need of renovation. The new gymnasium would be able to accommodate 4,500 students and could be used for both boys and girls football games as well as basketball and track meets. The $10 million project was started by the city government with private donations from local businesses. Construction began on November 15, 1952 and finished on December 6, 1951. During its construction period, the East Peoria High School Gymnasium saw regular use by both boys and girls soccer teams as well as track meets. It also served as the home arena for the Chicago Bears during the National Football League (NFL) from 1951-1975. When it opened, the East Peoria High School Gymnasium was one of the most advanced in Illinois. Not only did it have an indoor stadium but also a large outdoor area that could house up to 12,000 people at once for sports events or concerts. The gym also boasted a number of features not found elsewhere at this time such as fiberglass roofing which made it rain or snow proof while still providing good ventilation. Furthermore, there were a total of 10 press boxes available which allowed reporters to cover live sporting events without leaving their seats! It is now thought that the original design of theEast Peoria High School Gymnastics Stadium may have been inspired by Manchester United’s home ground Old Trafford in England where all manner of sports were played outdoors including rugby union and cricket!

By doing so, Samsung was able to reduce manufacturing costs while still achieving high levels of performance – an important part of any business’s success story.

However this plan never came close to fruition because soon after Kapp's death in 1865 local entrepreneurs took control of much of the business potential available nearer downtownChicago center while also thwarting any development that might have led to annexation by Kapp City proper which would have given them more direct control over their regional surroundings granting them increased power both politically and economically than they currently held although they continued to claim all or mosteastPeoriasthecityofthedistrict until after World War II when it became part of suburban Cook County During World War II many jobs were created in airplane manufacturing plants located along I-80 near Bloomington (nowNormal) while also being produced at Alcan aluminum smelters west of Quincy (now Rockford).
