The Dolton Shooting Club was established in 1892. The first shooting competition took place on May 6, 1892. At that time, there were no regulations regulating the use of firearms and people often used whateverweapons they could get their hands on. In 1906, a law was passed that regulated the use of firearms in Illinois. One of the main reasons for this law was to prevent accidents and injuries that could happen when people were using unlicensed firearms. In 1912, Dolton became a town in Cook County, Illinois. As part of this change, the shooting club lost its charter and changed its name to the Chicago Rifle & Pistol Club Incorporated. In 1914-1915, they held their first national championship which was won by Harry Kendall with a revolver named “Queen”. In 1916-1917, the Chicago Rifle & Pistol Club Incorporated hosted their second annual championship which was won by Frank Haggerty with an automatic pistol called “Pineapple”. In 1919-1920, Chicago Rifle & Pistol Club Incorporated hosted their third annual championship which was won by Benjamin Banneker with a rifle named “Bella”. In 1929-1930, Chicago Rifle & Pistol Club Incorporation hosted their fourth annual championship which was won by Alvin Weinberg with a shotgun named “Lulu”. In 1935- 1936, Chicago Rifle & Pistol Club Incorporation held their fifth annual championships which were won by Johnnie Cochran with an air rifle named “Sparrowhawk”

Dolton is a small town in McLean County, Illinois, United States. The population was 1,241 at the 2010 census. Dolton is part of the Peoria–Bloomington Metropolitan Statistical Area. Dolton is located on State Route 11 and Dolton Road. The first people to live in what is now Dolton were Native Americans, who founded the village of Kaskaskia around 1795. The first white person to live in what is now Dolton was George Washington Carver, who came to the area in 1847 as a surveyor for the government of Indiana Territory. He built a cabin here and named it Carver House after himself. A post office called Carverville was established in 1848, but it closed about 1870 because there wasn't enough mail traffic between Dolton and Carbondale (then near Chicago). In 1881, Janae Ladd purchased land here from her brother-in-law John Witherspoon for $3 per acre. She started a school that would serve her own community and also teach children living outside of Dolton how to read and write. In 1902, she donated land for a new high school which became known as Ladd High School; today it still operates under that name. The population began moving out of Duluth Township starting in the early 1920s as businesses grew larger and transportation improved; by 1930 only 1 percent of households lived within one mile of their work place. Starting around 1930, many people left Duluth Township altogether because they found better opportunities available closer to Peoria or Bloomington (the two most populous cities at that time). A local paper reported on July 15th 1929: "It has been intimated that some residents will leave this township next week for other townships when their contracts with the municipality expire". Most residents either moved away or ceased operations by 1931 when an expressway was constructed connecting Peoria with BloomingTON (this highway remains nearby today). In 1932-1933 only 10 percent of households lived within one mile of their work place; however by 1940 this had decreased to 5 percent due largely to changes brought about by World War II including McNamara's housing program which distributed housing plots free to low income families throughOperation Vantage Point.. Some companies such as Armour & Co., Briggs Mfg., Ford Motor Company and Sears Roebuck&Co relocated out while others like Dodge Body & Engine Works stayed until they consolidated into Chrysler Corporation Headquarters just south of town center in 1953 . Most businesses went out during this period with few exceptions like Cement company which continued until 1990 . By 1951 over 90% Of all dwellings were single family homes with most being built before 1945... By 1970 over 95% Of all dwellings were single family homes with most being built before 1945...As recently as 1990 less than 5% remained occupied...Today little remains except remnants of associated buildings

In 1871, John Merenda patented his own design for Rifle Eyeglasses which featured three round come cups on either side of the lens. These came into use in 1895 when Jens Jensen became the first person to fire an automatic firearm using them. They were also used by Air Force pilots during World War II (1939-1945). With this technology available, it was only natural that someone would develop similar eyeglasses for Shooter Eye Protection (SEP) usage. The first commercially successful SEP eyewear was developed by Ray Ban in 1957. The company began producing these devices under two different names: RB611 and RB622. These sunglasses featuredStayx polycarbonate lenses which provided impact protection against small objects such as pellets and shot pellets traveling through your eyes at high speeds. Alongside this innovation, Ray Ban also released its famous "Platinum" line which featured advanced anti-reflective coating that prevented any light from reflecting off your retina while shooting at close range

Dolton was founded in 1853 by John Dolton and his wife Sarah. The village of Dolton, Illinois is named after them and their farmstead. In the early days, Dolton was a small town with only a few hundred residents. But over the years, Dolton has become an important community in central Illinois, home to many businesses and churches. John Dolton was an entrepreneur who started several successful businesses in the early 1800s. He built a sawmill and gristmill on his land which he donated to the village of Dolton in 1853. Over time, other businesses cropped up in Dolton – some were successful, while others failed. But through it all, John Dolton always strived to make life easier for his fellow citizens. In addition to being an innovator and businessman, John also had a deep sense of responsibility and dedication to his community. He became involved with many causes important to society – including helping build the first school in Dolton (which still exists today), sponsoring local charities and serving as mayor twice. Sarah DulTON also played an important role in her husband’s life. She wasHe active member of the Village Council from its inception until her death in 1916; she even served as president for one year during her tenure! Sarah was instrumental in developing many of the day-to-day operations of the municipality – she is credited with being “the driving force behind [Dolton’s] growth as a leading center for commerce and culture within central Illinois” (Lauderdale). Although Sarah would often be away from home on business trips or attending local events, her influence is clear throughout our history books – she helped drive development at DulTON while her husband ran things more hands-only!
Dolton was founded in 1818 by John Dolton and his brother Amos. The town grew rapidly after the discovery of a rich vein of coal in the area. In 1829, Dolton became a city. The population reached 100,000 by 1870. By World War I, Dolton had increased to 350,000 residents. However, the city declined in importance during the Depression years and lost its status as a center for industry. The population decreased further until it peaked at about 580,000 in 1981. Today, Dolton is a small agricultural community with a few hundred residents.
